The regs allow the airlines to alter their schedules with impunity providing they give you at least 2 weeks notice.

You could ask the airline to alter your flight to the day after, rather than two days before tho.
Please read Vaubans superb guide. To find it Google and then download 'vaubans guide'.

Not quite, if the cancellation results in more than a day delay in arrival, the passenger has the right to re-routing, including an alternative carrier (but not compensation) irrespective of the length of notice.
Unfortunately this doesn't help the OP as their time has been brought forward, not delayed. And the cynic in me suspects this whty they have brought the time forward, rather than delaty as it gets them out of the regualtion trap....Yet another anomally of the regulations.

RyanAir approved my compensation claim last week (bonus!)

Their email said that the payment "has been processed and should be reflected in your bank statement in due course", but it has been a whole week now and nothing has appeared.[FONT=Verdana, serif]

Does anyone have any experience of how long they take to process payments?[FONT=Verdana, serif]

  • Help....any advice welcome. IN March I paid Ryanair up front £32 for parking at Manchester Airport. For personal reasons I cannot fly out to Warsaw on May 30th. Manchester Airport Parking says...'contact Ryanair'. They have a no refund policy which I understand BUT if I am not parking at the airport why can't I have my parking fee back. Surely it has nothing to do with flying? Anyone have advice or a proper address for Ryanair that I can write to? I tried emailing them but nothing has come back. Thanks.

Because it's also non-refundable? We have parking booked at Edinburgh Airport at the end of May which it turns out we don't need and that money's lost as well. You may be able to claim it on your travel insurance, depending on why you cannot travel.

    from their website
I would like to cancel, change or get a refund for my Parking/Transfer booking, who should I contact?
When you book parking or a bus transfer you are dealing with a third party provider. Any queries regarding your booking should be sent to them directly.
Refunds are provided by the third party partner, contact details below.
Please note: No refunds, changes or cancelations to your transfer or parking bookings can be made by Ryanair.
so there is no point in going through Ryanair...

I've recieved a letter from the court, saying to hand in any witness statements and whatever I want included for a hearing by the end of the month. Is there any guide one what I should hand in and what should be on my witness statement?

Our flight in two days time has been cancelled. There are no alternative Ryanair flights with 48 hours either side. Live chat and the call centre wouldn!!!8217;;t offer any alternatives and we!!!8217;ve to re book alternative flights ourselves. Is this correct?

Not sure why it!!!8217;s been cancelled, they were cagey and mentioned a local Spanish strike. Flight is FR696 Glasgow Prestwick to Palma.

There some info on rebooking with alternative carriers in the link below. Look for options and request them from Ryanair. Ideally, get something if writing if they still refuse.
