  • Please can some one help?.................
I am waiting a compensation payment from Ryanair from 12/01/18. They sent me a cheque and when I tried to put the payment in my bank account they then stopped this at their end claiming this was a technical fault. I then was told they would transfer my compensation via bank transfer and no payment received again to be told this was due to a technical fault. I sent a further email and again they asked for my bank details which I promptly submitted and again not received payment! They fave hung up on me twice over the phone and it is impossible to speak to somebody from the claims department as they just fob you off and say they are reservations. I have only got a delayed response from them via the resolver website and they don't both to respond via their customer service address. I am sick of their lack of customer service now and I am going to raise this to the ombudsman. Any ideas of anything else I could try??

In English Law you can sue on the dishonoured cheque but Ryan Air are Irish. You may have to use the European procedure. Dr Watson is the expert on this and he has published a very useful guide somewhere.
The press might be interested in RyanAir bouncing a cheque especialy if you sent them a photo of it

    laura578,
My post 569 on this thread for details of the ESCP if you need it.
    Good luck and keep going.
Successfully sued Ryanair in 2013/14...and have been 'helping' litigants since then.

    Current known score:-
Dr Watson 35 - 0 Ryanair / Ince and Co

Go to post 622 on the Ryanair thread to read how to sue them safely.

Is there a way to find out on a given day, the average delay at an airport, most of the flight stat websites need you to sign up and pay...

Hi, my Ryanair flight back from Prague to Edinburgh was delayed by approx. 8 hours.

My friend had made the booking for all of our group (12 people). Can we claim compensation individually or do we need the person who paid for all the flights to claim for all of us?

Many thanks in advance for any help. The Ryanair site is not 100% clear as it mentions "one claim per booking", but I'm not sure if that means booking as in my friend paying or booking as in seat on the plane. I've read conflicting information elsewhere stating that the claim should be made by the passenger as the compensation is for time lost.
  • Hi, if you claim through Ryanair you will stand a batter chance and they will only accept one claim per booking. However take the 10 day payout promise with a pinch of salt

The RA website does specify each passenger must use a separate claim form.

    Good luck.
Please read Vaubans superb guide. To find it Google and then download 'vaubans guide'.
  • Some advice please, I have read the sticky and done some research I just want to make sure I include everything I need.

I had a flight ryanair to stansted 27th December 2017 with a 4 hour delay. There was snow in stansted so put it down to exceptional weather. Just so happens someone at work was on a later flight that took off and landed before mine. I was 1500 to land at 1630 and ended up landing at 2115. They had a 1540 due at 1710 and landed at 1740. I would happily accept the weather but feel aggreived later flights took off and landed and feel it would be hard to justify weather as an excuse in this case. I note from the sticky the capabilities of the plane are a consideration but if this involved identical planes would I have a case? I know I can only try but could/should I include details of the scheduled later flights that landed?

    Thanks in advance
