    Surely if the flights were all booked with BA then we need to claim with them. I've already had an email back from them saying they are dealing with it and will get back to us ASAP. I bow to your greater knowledge though so am now thinking that we will get another email back from BA saying that we have to do it with Vueling.
    We also have a missing suitcase so are trying to figure that one out too as more than one airline is involved.
    I really do hope though that we don't have to do everything with Vueling as their reviews are awful for anything like this.

    rosie were both flights with vueling on vueling aircraft?
    If so the claim is against the airline who operated the flight, not who you paid or booked tickets through.

    The last airline you used to reach your final destination has responsibility for your luggage.

    BA will get back to you and say nothing to do with them contact Vueling and then you will have wasted possibly weeks. resubmit the claim to Veuling and don't waste time with BA.

    Thank you J. You answered the very question that I came looking for the answer to.
    I will put in the claim with Vueling now.
    Oh, just got word thst they found our suitcase. They've said we can't ring them and say that it will be delivered to our destination airport. Really hoping that will be LHR rather than LGW where we ended up.

    When we realised the bag was missing in Barcelona they told us that they would continue to look for it (we managed to find our other 3 cases) and that we would need to go to their desk in Gatwick and fill in the forms there.
    Once at Gatwick, we were told that because we didn't lodge the lost baggage thing in Barcelona, that Vueling would not pay for the luggage to be delivered to us.
    We have just had a message now to say that it will now be delivered to our home address today which is great.

    Back to my original query now... I've been trying to lodge the claim on Vueling's site but it still won't accept the claim form. Still telling me to try later or contact customer services but that just brings me back to the enquiry form that I have filled in now umpteen times. When we ring the number for the UK, it asks us to state which option we would like, change booking, sales etc, but no option for anything we need. Can't get past that bit.

    Also, can one of you please confirm which flight number I need to put please? Is it the first flight which was delayed by an hour causing us to miss our connection, the connecting flight which we missed, or the eventual flight which got us back to the UK 5 hours late?
    On BA's site we were able to put in all 3 flight numbers and it was really clear which to input.
