OK, perhaps 1 phone call might do the trick but others are having trouble getting through so I repeat what I said a few posts back. If you have gone through all the hassle of getting a judgment, don't let them mess you about. Enforce it. With a bit of luck you'll end up with an aircraft in your back garden till the Sheriff sells it.

Does anybody have a contact telephone number for the legal department?
Every time I call, i'm put on hold for ages and then the person I speak to barely understands what my claim is and then tells me to email the after sales or legal department who then do not respond.0 -
I didn't realise there was a legal department you could contact! I've always spoken to a customer services department who are useless. I sent my LBA and gave them until Friday to pay me compensation and will issue Claim Form if they don't - one question - do I put the amount claimed in Euros or convert to Sterling ?0

Legal department won't deal with claims before court, if you have a judgement against them then they will talk to you.0

Hi, I sent off my compensation letter to Thomson on the 05/05/015, it has now been 3 weeks and I've heard nothing back, is this normal? How long should I wait?
Regards0 -
Up to you how long you wait. My first letter they said they didn't receive, I sent it again, they answered within days saying no compensation, EC, I sent my second letter on 19 February asking for details of the 2nd and 3rd delay - still waiting for a reply to that one ! Sent my LBA just over 2 weeks ago, given them 14 days, not heard a word so will be issuing claim shortly.0

Having sent an initial letter with no reply, I would now send an NBA, enclosing a copy of your previous letter.0

Hi,
I have read Vauban's guide, I suppose I am just wanting to double check before I submit incase I cause myself problems down the line.
15th March- Intial claim letter sent,
16th April- Additional follow up letter sent as a gentle reminder.
12th May- NBA issued to Chief Executive of the company.
27th May (today) Thomson confirmed they logged my claim onto the system on the 28th April, the rather rude lady on the other end of the phone said they will deal with me within 56 days. I explained I was within my rights to commence legal action and she replied "go ahead" doesn't bother us.
I have just re-read Vauban's guide before I start filling in the court claim, my only worry is, I know they will ask for me to provide proof I was on the flight. I have no booking forms/ flight stubs or email confirmations as it was booked online 5 years ago, if they want this, I will need to do a SAR.
Do I do the claim form and then, if, within their defence they say they want it do a SAR.
Or do the SAR and then send the forms?
I'd like to make sure I do this the right way around.
The holiday was all a bit of a mess and was booked the night before using a company through teletext holidays as our holiday to Turkey got cancelled, Goldtrail disaster. As a result we booked a last min deal to leave for Cyprus the next day that resulted in a very long delay and been transferred to Newcastle from Manchester.
Any help appreciated. Tia.Arctic Monkeys :j0 -

If your flight was five years ago they will not provide you with a booking confirmation by using an SAR, they will tell you that they do not keep records that long. Whether you believe that or not is up to you.

I live in Manchester, should I put Manchester down as the court on the N1 form, or would I be better putting Liverpool as they seem to be dealing with more of these cases? Hoping it doesn't come to court and they don't defend, but any little extra will help.0
