The easy one was a knock on effect from a delayed flight 2 days prior to my flight.
The not so clear cut one was a delay caused by the failure or the checking in computers at the airport.
Not sure what the issue was, but I know that an outside company had to be bought in to check us in with portable computers.

Hi, an update for anyone who was on this flight. I have successfully claimed for three passengers for a delay acknowledged as being due to operational issues that was excruciatingly 5 mins short of 4 hours so therefore our entitlement was 900 euros in total which equates at current exchange rates to around £650 happy days  :j

I started a complaint back in November 2014 for a 7 hour delay from Manchester to Mexico and still no further forward as they are asking me for boarding passes which I no longer have obviously. I gave them flight numbers, dates and times so surely Thomsons have the technology to look up this delayed flight and see we were on it eventually so why should we need boarding passes? It's ridiculous that we are asked for such a thing as proof when they have all other details. When I phone to try and speak to somebody about this matter the phone just rings and nobody answers! Does anybody know how to get a booking reference number from 2010 as I no longer have such details😢

SAR is your possible friend here - read Vauban's excellent guide.
They only request boarding pass as evidence you took the flight.
If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

    Hi All,
Judgement against thomson was issued on the 29/4/15. Tried to contact Thomson on more than several occasions but cant get through to anyone, (on the plus side, I now know all the words to Bohemian Rhapsody!).I've had paper confirmaton by post from the courts but no contact from Thomson.
What now? Should i now issue a warrant or wait a bit more.
    Thanks.

Of course you should enforce it. You've gone to all the trouble to sue them and get a judgement so why are you making nice phone calls. If it;s for more than £600 get it enforced by High Court enforcement officers.

So again no response from Thomson.

I've instructed the Sheriffs, which costs £60 to get a writ(which can take 4 weeks), then there is another £90 if they are unable to collect.

When I phoned them they said they should be able to recover from them but this normally kicks 'the corporates' into life if they are going to set aside the judgement etc

also said its better to use their head office instead of the registered address as the enforcement address

so frustrating going through all this just so thomson will reply to my claim... The only correspondence I've had from them is a generic exceptional circumstances letter.

    Hi Zeewrath,
Did you get a judgement issued against thomson and they failed to reply?
Because thats the position i'm in at the moment. Thinking about bailiff action.

If you have a judgement against them then phone the Thomson Legal Department to discuss. Worked for me.
