:jJust got an email from Thomas Cook advising they had emailed me a voucher for £640 - 400 euros each for our 12 hour delay in August 13. I immediately rang them and said I didn't want vouchers, no problem they said, they will pay money into my bank account within 28 days.
I had to contact them 7 times about this claim but well worth the effort in the end! 4 times they told me I didn't have a claim, so keep at it folks.:T:beer:0 -
Question, as lead passenger and claimant of others in family and with a letter of authorisation do the other claimants need to attend court or can just myself?Check out Vaubans Flight Delay Guide, you will be glad you did....

No they don’t. I am not the lead passenger of 13 claimants, but I got authorisation to take it forward off everyone, as the lead passenger, my father is 75. I have attended court on my own. I did ask all the party to give me a testimonial for the court bundle though.0 -
Just received a voucher for £475.
I phoned them and requested cash they said no problem but will take upto 28 days.
Bit frustrating that TC try to stall paying out so much but I suppose all airlines are the same.0 -

You should sell tickets though - it ought to be good fun to watch you demolish the airline in front of the judge!

Another question, do I need to put court orders/directions in my bundle? Should I include them for good measure or just in case?Check out Vaubans Flight Delay Guide, you will be glad you did....
