You will need to phone them up, you do not have to accept vouchers, demand the queens own.Check out Vaubans Flight Delay Guide, you will be glad you did....:):)

Sorry if this has been asked before. Where do I find out how long my flight was delayed? Manchester to hurgharda TCX 2872 3/6/14.
They've agreed to pay out but I'm unsure if we touched down just under 4 hrs.
Thanks in advance.0 -
Flightstats.co.uk - that measures chocks on, but the ECJ has ruled it's when the aircraft doors are opened that counts.0

Thanks, I've had a look on this site. No luck though I'm afraid.
As I said it was it was minutes off 4 hours when we touched down, I didn't know about the doors open thing. it's out of my hands now anyway, because I can't prove this one way or the the other.
28 calendar days take me to 22/12/14, that's if they stick to their words...0 -
Has anyone who after the new ruling received an email saying the claim in now payable received any money yet.
"Following this review, under EU Regulation 261/2004 compensation is now payable for your claim. Due to the high workload that we are currently experiencing, I want to say sorry for the delay in issuing the compensation for your claim. You will receive the compensation within 28 days and the amount being paid will be confirmed on your payment confirmation email."
How long did you wait for the payment confirmation email?
Did you receive the payment within 28 days?
Thanks0 -

Hi there,
I received email on 28/11/14 advising that they were now paying out and that it would be within 28 days. I then received notification on 16/12/14 with the voucher attached. So it was within 28 days.
I then phoned and requested cash which wasn't an issue. Bank details taken but advised that it could be up to 28 days for money to arrive in bank.
Certainly good news to receive at this time of Year.0 -

Oh dear, thats not good is it? Another 28 days......0 -
TC are playing with words. They haven't given you a reliable timeframe. Where they say it could be up to 28 days they might as well add then again it could be much longer. You need to use any edge you have on them to force their hand. I.e if stayed, applying to court for stay to be lifted.
Think you'll find that they're stalling everyone who can't find something to twist their arm with. Fortunately I did.
Good luck and don't spend it till you get it.

Afternoon all,
First post here. My family and I (myself, wife, son 3 and daughter 5months) were delayed from Lanzarote to EMA for 20 hours due to engine problems. Wasn't aware that you could claim until the other day when I was told that I could.
Sent them a letter from a template I have seen off "which" website and posted, and also gave them a complaint via their website.
I have put that I believe we are eligiable for €400 each due to theEUDenied Boarding Regulation 261/2004.
edit: Flight number TCX5175, anyone alse going for compo for the same delay?Have I gone for enough compo? Have I gone about it the right way? Thanks in advance for any advice.0
