I am pleased to say that I am privy to Batman's secret. I don't think I am betraying any confidences if I say: the airline is talking utter bollards, and Batman is going to call them out on it. Big time.

 I'll resist asking what you have done to obtain batmans secret?!?

I think if you read through the posts, it's abundantly clear what evidence batman has in this case, what bemuses me is that TC are still fighting his/ her (you never know) case.

This case won't go to Court. It can't ~ it's hopeless from TC's point of view.

It's true, Vauban has help me out on this good time as most of my case was waffle and not needed as it is not up to me to prove but TC, yes vauban has seen it!Lol:D

Anyway there are several more claimants now on my flight according to the court, i just wish they tell the truth to us as they are on a lost cause. If the judge take thier story then I will fire back the evidence and no judge in this world would throw it out, in fact he should repremand TC for taking the *** and contempt of court.:xmastree:

  • Hi folks, just wondering if anyone has any advice.

I have my case for compensation over to a company called refund.me over a year ago.

After the huzar ruling they sent me a generic email saying they would now be pursuing cases etc.

I have tried contacting them over the last month but thry won't respond. I now wish to cancel my contract with them but they will say that they are due money from me got their services they have provided thus far.

Does anyone have any advice on how I can get put of my contract with them, free of charge? I feel given their lack of communication i could do it on those grounds?

    Any help appreciated

    Cheers

First was this a No win no fee? looking at the site it is-

No legal risk for you: “No win, no fee”

Therefore they have not yet commenced anything other than write a letter.

You will need to look at the small print of your confirmation of acceptance email or letter.

They cannot stop you from backing out of it but by accepting them to claim on your behalf you have entered a contract so check it out in fine detail.

I would also ask have they done or written anything to update you on your case previously? If not i would challenge them on the charges.

Steve: what you're basically asking for is legal advice on your contract which no one here should or can give - even if they had sight of your contract with refund.me.

I suspect that not responding over the last few weeks will not offer you a clean break - and you're likely to have a scrap regardless. Have you tried embarrassing them on social media: that might prompt a response?
  • Yes, that have updated me and have said that it would be going to court etc but I doubt that it actually is.

I have contacted Bott n co to see what they think as I would preferably have them deal with the case.

I have entered a contract that states that I will be dry them money if I break it but I feel that given the lack of communication that I can fairly say that they are not performing their end of the contract.

I'll maybe contact CAB in the next few days to get their take on it.

    Cheers
  • After phoning and emailing TC numerous times I have finally received an email from them to advise me that conpensation is now payable.
They said they will settle within 28 days, does anyone know what normally happens re receiving the payment do I just send them bank details or do they send me a cheque? Also will they require any more info from me such as itinerary etc?
