Had a letter from court today wanting to decide my case on papers alone without hearing, shall i agree to this and what would the consequences be?
I will be able to submit my evidence and see the defence evidence.

    Any advice? thanks

Looks like TC have made this decision for me, they do not accept by papers alone.

    what are they playing at?

As a foot note, i really honestly think they really do not know what the issue is, they are in for a suprise.

  • Good Morning All,

After submitting an email to have my stay lifted 10 days ago I still have not heard anything from the court or Weightmans. I have left answer phone messages and emailed Weightmans to clarify there position and have been completely blanked by them. And now no response from the court! Can anyone suggest where my course of action should now go?

    Many Thanks

Give the court a ring and find out what they are up to. I suspect a large number of cases and they are wading through them. Never mind contacting the solicitors, they get directions from TC and will tow the line.

  • HELP PLEASE Does any one know if I have to accept compensation in the form of vouchers to be use before December 2015 or can I insist on a cash compensation. I have been offered £320 of vouchers for Thomas Cooke for a 15.5 hour delay returning from Izmir in Turkey to gatwick
I find thoms Cooke very frustrating as I certainly didn't pay for my holiday in vouchers. Advice please?
  • Dave Have you read the Thomas Cook thread?

    Update from bott&co about TC:
    Thomas Cook
Negotiations have broken down with Thomas Cook and we’ve begun the progress of issuing court proceedings on outstanding cases with them. As we weren’t able to make any headway in settling cases as we’ve done with Monarch and Thomson, issuing proceedings was the only option left for us.

This means that claims against Thomas Cook are unlikely to be paid for around 8 weeks depending on the courts and the action that the airline takes in defending the claims.

It must depend on your flight as I was told Friday I'll have the money within 5 days and I think a few others have on different Thomas Cook flights claiming through bott and co
