The firm who represented Messrs Huzar and Dawson seem to be favoured by most.

    Try Huzar thread or Google.

They will give you a reason - but you're right that it won't be detailed or even accurate (such as in your case with the "safety fault" excuse). But my point is that you don't need to know the reason for the delay in order to make a claim. All that comes with the legal case.

Have you written to the court to get your case unstayed yet?

Hi, yes I wrote on 3rd November, when I rang the Court last week they advised they were dealing with cases 10 days behind! I also received a letter from Weightmans (TC Sols) on Friday advising they had written to the court stating they are waiting for instruction from TC which should be by the end of the week. Will update on here when I hear from either again.

That's interesting - thanks for the update. The clock is ticking and TC are almost out of time.

I would be flabbergasted if they do not now settle with you - so make sure you hold firm for your court fees and interest - not least as they have inconvenienced you so much by making you jump through these hoops.

Their legal defence has crumbled - so go get 'em!

TC are now out of time with my case, they had 14 days from the SC appeal, still nothing from them, written to the court asking for they stay to be lifted two weeks ago the day after the SC decision.

Are Travlaw still acting for TC?

On what basis are they continuing? I suspect they are doing it to leverage a better deal with you, but I hope you call their bluff.
