Godwin Street, about 4 yrs ago, Godwin Street was closed a few months ago, transfering work to Birkenshaw & Falkirk, so this may be the reason for the address change.
I was told to write to the Falkirk address. Oddly enough their letterhead has the old address, which is odd considering it's just a template printed on paper not actual stationary letterhead.
Has anyone served MCOL with one address and not had issues with TC changing the address or ignoring it? Which address did you use?0 -
The Companies house website shows the Peterborough address.

They are clearly stalling for time. If it gets to court make sure you point out to the Judge how devious and scheming TC areIf you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

Do I go to court if TC are asking for it to be set aside ?0

I don't believe so. It is a decision for the judge. Others will have a better idea, but I don't even think there is an opportunity to make a written submission. That said, a very quick letter to the Court Manager for Monday morning noting that all your and the court's correspondence hcbeen sent to the registered HQ of the airline (as identified in the Companies House register) can't do much harm.0 -
Oh don't worry I havnt spent all my time reading every post on here for nothing and I've got no intention of giving in hiw long have you been waiting waiting for your court date ??0

As this happened to anyone else or just me ???0

I recall this happening to at least a couple of other folk a while back. As has already been noted, the courts tend not to like default judgements, which don't make for great justice. So if there's a chance that a claim could be defended, the instinct seems to be to set a judgement aside. Frustrating for the claimant, I know (especially when the airline is playing silly b@ggers).0

Do you know how long it takes until it's set aside ???0

In addition to Mummykate's question, can someone tell me what exactly set aside means? I thought it was a way of avoiding court completely? Or does it mean a delay?
Sorry if that's a daft question but I honestly have never heard of this term. :embarasse0 -

It effectively means the judgement is favour of the claimant is overturned and the process goes back for deliberation.
I think the timescale depends upon the workload of the court, but it tends to be a few days, I think.0
