    Good evening everyone,

Can i first say a huge thank you to everyone who wished my DD a happy birthday, when i showed her she was so pleased, helped make her day a little more special (as much as you can when you have to goto school!!!). Both her and her brother are now at their youth club, got about 10 mins before i have to go and collect them.

Csarina - that recipe sounds delicious, think i might have to try it next time we have lamb!!!

Had quite a nice day today, the weather has been lovely, so the LOs have been able to play outside, which they love. They also loved helping make (and later eat) DDs birthday cake, which was delicious.
I also had a lady and her little boy around, as she needs a childminder, she is happy with what i offer, so we are having a few trial days next week. Im really looking forward to having a tiny one again (will be 1 in a couple of weeks), the ones i have now are all quite self sufficient, so im looking forward to playing/learning with the LO.
Right, better get to youth club, have promised them pizza and a late(r) night as a birthday treat, might even make some popcorn!!!

((HUGS)) to anyone who wants/needs one, and also hope all the poorly pets are soon better.
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Just a wee quick graze into the thread again. DGS2 well down, DGS1 finishing watching Winnie the Pooh and then he will be 'off the floor' as we say!

They have been so good since DSIL dropped them off. DGS1 was a bit show offy at work but only to be expected at his age. DGS2 a bit shy - again, just that age!

Boys ate a huge tea and DH and I had steamed salmon and veg! Salmon very yellow stickered price bargain at Somerfield - have more in the freezer.

It is so good to see folk coming back who we have missed.

Hope all the school issues resolve themselves. Education is so important and it is so hard to get it right. We made provision for kids to fund uni but neither took up the option but thankfully are progressing with their lives and career so we are not worried. It does now mean we have a nice wee nest-egg for our old age but we made huge sacrifices to build up the money then in case they needed it. I would have worn a bin bag if it would promote their education.

Once DGS1 down, will try and get back to you all.

    Love

    Hi

Happy birthday to catowens dd, hope u have had a great day:j

Well dh is in the clear, checked his blood this morn and it was fine, so lost as to what is wrong, he has another appointment with another dr next week, dont think he is eating enough, he will have breakfast rarely, snacks most of the time and refuses to take any food with him to work, he works 8 hour shifts in a distillery, he is adamant he eats fine but me and twink have tried convincing him but to no avail!

Going off to costco tomorrow, so will stock up on freezer meals.

Lo is better today, still a bit peaky but no fever which is good.

Was having a big chat with ds1 today, and he said he would now like to try an insulin pump, found a website that has an interactive game showing what the pump does etc, he also burst into tears at tea saying he feels lonely as he is the only one with type 1 in the family, it breaks my heart when he is like this as i know there is not a single thing i can to do to take it away.

    Anyway hugs
    Kyle

CSARINA - what time is dinner on Sunday. I'll bring the Muscadet - you supply the yummy lamb.

Well Mioliere........we eat at around 6pm on sunday, I need to go to the lottie to get some apple mint to make the mint sauce, it makes much nicer mint sauce than the common mint. Roasties, cauli, calebrese and carrots, and of course the sauce mad with lamb stock and the marinade..... think we might finish off with lemon meringue pie, may be cheese and biscuits ,coffee and maybe a slug of brandy or a liqueur............so you had better stay the night, wouldn't want you to get done for drink driving!!!!!
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

    Evening All

    Just a quick update.

Catowen- glad DD has had a nice day.
Kyle - I know how you feel, DD has various medical issues and though there is lots of people much worse off it is horrible when they ask why me.

(((hugs))) and get well wishes to poorly pets.

Well dont know about anywhere else but where I am was decidely nippy today - I know thats normal for April but the weather forcast was really hot. Admittedly we do live near the coast so its always a bit cooler.

Didnt really matter - washing dried. Completely changed my day - did some housework and popped into local town to pay some money in, so no filing done. Refuse to do it over the weekend so that is now put off for monday.

Well off to bed now, fancy a early night.

    Have a lovely weekend everyone.

    Oh my poor aching feet!

What a day that was! Work until 2.30, drove to the school to pick DD up, tried to get hold of DS to remind him that I wouldn't be home until 6.30 and did he have his keys but couldn't get hold of him. So I had to drive home, leave key with neighbour and stick a message on the door. That delayed me by 30 minutes. Drove 18 mile journey to take my parents shopping, 18 mile journey back. Unloaded my shopping from the car and put it all away. Then received text from date to say he had to cancel and all I could do was cheer :(

I managed to spend £33 in Tesco which was disgusting considering there is only 3 of us now but I got some lovely treats, a joint of beef reduced to £2 and some salmon fillets reduced to £1.

It's my birthday on Sunday and my parents have given me £100 to buy a new stereo for my car. So I'm now off to browse around and see what I can get for my money :D
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

    F U Fund currently at £250

same here - dd has had various medical issues, mostly fixable except for an unhealthy obsession with dr who, but it's still not nice when they're going through it. She once asked me if she was the runt of the family - bless
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008
