Morning all - you are early risers!

RACYRED - love your coot update, I think they are sooooo cute!

JOCKETTUK - Sounds like you're doing a great job, always remember that the slower you lose the weight, the more likely it is to say off :)

KATHY - it may not be healthy but I'm a strong believer in a treat every now and then! We're only human!

CATOWEN - Happy Birthday to little Miss Catowen

Off to get ready for work, will be back home for a break later on this afternoon. Expecting a call from a debt counsellor at 3.30, not looking forward to that!

Hope you all have a great day!
    October grocery challenge(started 17/10/07):
    Asda - £11.98
    Aldi - £10.36

Parking pot: £1.00 (everytime I walk into town instead of parking on pay and display, I put the money saved in a jar)

    Good Morning

Am enjoying the last 10 minutes of peace and quiet before the kids get up.

Dont know what the weather is doing at the moment but hopefully it will be nice today - need to do a couple of loads of washing. Other than that more paperwork.

Need to drop DS into the docs before school as they had run out of his hayfever medicene yesterday so this will enable him to have a dose before school and hopefully have a good day.

Tomorrow we are off to see the under 16's play Spain at Wembley so DS will be missing footie practice so will get a little lie in. After we come back from London we need to rush around a friends house for his birthday party, however wont be staying long as they asked for no kids and I dont have a babysitter for mine!

Best get on and go and make packed lunches and empty the diswasher.

Hope you all have a great day.

    B - Banana
    L - tinned salmon sandwhich
D - grilled pork chops, roasted veg, j pots (new pots for me)

    Good morning everyone,

Thank you for DDs birthday wishes, im going to be getting her up in a minute (so she can open her pressies before the LOs get here and want to help!!!) - bet she gets out of bed this morning without any problems, mind you, she came into me a 5 asking if she had been born yet, i said no, go to sleep!!! She was born at 6.49am, so she is now 9 years and 2 minutes old!!! She is going to be so excited when i show her how people have said happy birthday to her!!!
The living room is full of birthday banners, balloons and pressies, so she will be excited, and so will the LOs, they love playing with balloons.
Our plans for today are to make DD a birthday cake, so should be interesting later - we might make 2, an official one i will deorate, and an unofficial one the LOs can!!!!
Apart from that, not much planned for today - but boy, am i glad its Friday, this week seems to have dragged by.

((HUGS)) to anyone who needs/wants one, im off to get the birthday girl now (do you think im excited too?)

    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    morning all

Well I was awoken at 5.30 by a very scratchy dog who decided to leave her basket and come and wake me up by lying on my arm and scratching herself - nice. I managed to give her tablets both times yesterday wrapped in a bit of ham. Shes a little drowsy tho, which is very cute. I hope she gets better soon tho, she is gnawing at herself quite a lot and its so awful to see. :( poor thing :(

Yesterday was a bit of a write off in terms of practical doing as I got caught up trying to find flights to Africa for the festival in October. I started ringing around at 12 and by 4 loads of the flights had been sold. OH and I decided we'll be booking it today- so awaiting 9.00 to get the tickets booked. Im so excited :j

Hopefully the lonely planet book I ordered yesterday morning should arrive today too. So if this gets here Ill be spending some time lying about reading that & dozing I think :)

Also the bed might arrive from ebay this afternoon- which is very exciting given weve been on the mattress on the floor since january while I hunt around for the best deal :rotfl: I was starting to veer towards not bothing to buy one at all ( we cn live without it!) but i snapped and bought one yesterday :D

My MSN is playing up no end which bothers me as I have someone Im helping out over it today and Im worried that theyll think Im ignoring them  I hope to get it sorted in a minute.

Im going to try my best to get stuck into the garden again - but the job seems so unsurmountable and im quite tempted to have a look in the newsagents window to find someone to do the donkey work. I dont mind growing and watering etc, but hard graft of lifting and turning all the topsoil is just far too heavy work for me :(

    brekkie- cereal
lunch bread rolls, ham & HM onion marmalade, lettuce
tea, - might mix it up a bit and do a chicken fillet with mini roasties in a mushroom sauce cos Ive got some creme fraiche i need to use up.

hope all have a great day :) hugs to anyone in need xx
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

    Good morning everyone!

Haven't been around much because been on a bit of a downer and didn't want to infect you all.. Teenage problems and I'm at the end of my tether with what to do. Also been the anniversary of my dad's passing away, but to be honest, glad he's not around to see all this.

It's just a phase - that's my mantra at the moment.

Hope everyone has a good day, and here's hoping for a nice weekend all round

    Hugs everyone

    Morning everyone

Hope you are all having better weather today than us - raining here and I have to take the dog out in a bit :(

Off to Morrisons later to see if I can get some of the black plastic buckets that they sell off that the flowers are in - I must NOT get carried away with the BOGOFs :D

Sorry you're having problems Cazziebo, I was very lucky with my DS, we didn't have any trouble, but I hope things get better soon.

I'm making a Chinese tonight using some paste I got from a Chinese supermarket, so hoping it will taste like a takeaway for a fraction of the cost.

Have a good day everyone x

    Morning all.

Haven't really had time to catch up but huge hugs for ((((PenPen)))) re the chickens.

    Happy Birthday Miss Catowen.

    T.G.I.F. :j

Was rudely awoken at 5 by Oh coming to bed after falling asleep on sofa last night. and was just getting back to sleep when cats decided they wanted an early breakfast so have been up and busy since 5.30am.

It's amazing how much can be achieved when they're all still asleep. Kitchen and bathroom are swished. One load of washing done and DW emptied. Breakfast organised and a little bit of ironing done.

Got distracted with the garden yesterday but have to go into office with OH again today. Hopefully he'll let me home early if I behave.;)

We invited people for a drink tonight and they said they'd call but they haven't yet so I've no idea if I'm entertaining tonight or not. (Yes....I know I'm always entertaining :p )

It's a beautiful morning so I'm off for a quick coffee in the garden before I wake the rabble. The weekend is forecast to be good too so I'm hoping we will spend it in the garden and the house might just stay tidy.;)

    have a lovely Friday everyone

    Haribo x

Edited to add Hugs to (((Cazziebo)))

Good morning everyone! I'm feeling much better today :j :T , and very excited about our new arrivals!! I'll be checking how many names I have for the chicks - depending on how many hatch, some of you may have to share ;)

Need to finish the glossing in the spare room this morning. It's raining here, so no probs staying indoors. DD has her party tomorrow - 6 girls for a barbeque and sleepover in the empty spare room. She's asked for a profiterole tower and chocolate Smartie birthday cake (her third b.day cake this year  ) so need to bake them today, plus a trip to the butcher before he sells out.

    HappyBirthday Miss Catowen :EasterBun :bdaycake:

N9eav - good to see you back :A

Ooooooops, nearly forgot - DS's cup final tomorrow morning. Please send good vibes to him and his team!

Have a Fab Friday, Penny. x
