    Hmm. Not HP - DH did not get paid yesterday (last Friday of the month). I know it was half term but it is possuble to schedule payments when you're not there. Left with a dilemna as today's shopping would have been from March's money. So paid the butcher and farm shop from the main account and put the supermarket through on the bills account. Probably sensible to split it that way too. Means I overspent my average monthly for Feb though. :( I know it will all come out in the wash but still not HP.

    Good luck everyone in March

    Hmm - didn't end up being a NSD as planned. My HM asked if I could get some Flora pro active yoghurts from Mr S he has for low cholesterol. They had ran out! :mad: Whilst there I of course 'had' to buy something so got tempted on a bottle of Marmite (fed up of sweet things such as Nutella and jam on toast for breakfast at the moment, so need some variation), and a jar of cumin because I've ran out.

    £3.43 spent.

    Curry with a multitude of spices is on simmer for dinner tonight. Used all the garam masala up, which I wish I had realized I needed when in Mr S...oh well.

    On the plus side, I did get a 400 points when you spend £20 voucher which I'll use next weekend after payday, which is £2 off £20. Better than the 80 points off £20 (40p!) they usually give me!

    Meat stocks are currently limited to a pack of chicken breasts and a pack of prawns (allowed on a 1 'treat' day of prawns/red meat a week), so I think I was actually quite restrained in not getting more things! :A

    Another £13 over the last two days. Some essentials in there, but tbh I've been at work so much I've "needed" some treats. Still, used to spend probably £15 a weekend every weekend, sometimes more, and this wasn't factored into the budget at all, so although we'll now be over, it'll be only just (still got to buy some actual essentials mind) and it's only our first month! Quite impressed tbh, but have no idea how other people do so well on so little - out of the "treat" mindset I guess?
  • £7 in sains on milk, juice, old El Paso kits.

    We ordered pizza tonight for dinner from a different budget and that should feed me and dd for most of tomorrow too!
  • Last weekly shop of the month today;

    £21.12 in MrA and 1.68 in sains so scraping in under budget but still got 5 days to go!
  • spends today £5.39 Mr M
