Did our final shop of the month which really was just fresh stuff and some essentials. Doesn't half add up though:(

Total spend £23.15. Will really have to just stay away from the shops as we have gone from looking comfortably under budget to being just under budget:eek: However, this month was a real challenge for us as it meant reducing our spend from £50 a week to £40 a week. This has been for four of us and a cat and includes all toiletries and cleaning stuff so I am actually quite pleased. Just got to get through until next Tuesday...

    Have a good weekend.

  • Hi Everyone

£1.10p spend today in m&s for a lovely bunch of bananas. Only have £3.50 to last til Monday night as I spent £2.00 in Iceland on 12 brown cobs and a 4 pinter. On the plus side we dont need anything to buy for any dinner so in town tomorrow i'll get another 4 pinter, a box of eggs and a thick slice brown loaf from Greggs which should leave me 10p. Phew its close. Still got a lot of stuff in the freezer to go towards next month.

Meal planned are egg and bacon for tonight, Lasagne for tomorrow and BBQ brisket for Sunday. Freezer surprise for Monday. Dh gets paid on Tuesday so i'll be joining the March thread then.

  • Another NSD to report today - I'm getting better at this. :) Tea tonight was just a spaghetti carbonara. The mealplan is now done for next week, along with the shopping list, and while I might need to get some bread & milk over the weekend, I think we can hold out until Monday for the rest. :)

    Have a lovely weekend, everyone.
