Hey everyone!
Had a busy weekend as we had a party to celebrate OH's birthday and our engagement last night, plus we went to a wedding fair beforehand and then I had lunch with family friends today before doing the shopping!
Spent £10 of Gc money on party food (we agreed if we went over budget on this we'd split the extra out of our personal spending money, which is what happened) and £13.95 today in Aldi on milk, cabbage, plums, tortillas, lemons, spreadable butter, rolls, aubergine, peppers, salad, ham, frozen peas, tuna, chopped tomatoes and bananas.
Made veg fajitas for dinner - hangover favourite lol
Part time working mum of DS (2015) and DD (2018).

Spend of £11.80 yesterday added to total and have until friday, so hoping to make it. I`ve got most things in and just need the basics, so fingers crossed.
I`ve meal planned for next month already and have now started to shop on a thursday, for my weekly shop instead of every other day and just going out when I need milk, bread, f&v and meat. So far it`s going o.k and I feel alittle more, in control of my spending.
I`ve also decided to exclude the dog food from the budget as from next month as I always buy this online because it`s cheaper, so because it`s not brought with the shopping, i`m not going to include this and keep a seperate budget for the dog food.
Congratulations on your good news bluegreen.Grocery Challenge 2013: July week 1 £90/£87.41

Oh bum - am £2.50 over budget 'cos I forgot about DS2s snack money for preschool! Doesn't really matter as I tend to feel £5 either way is pretty much the same as hitting my budget (esp as I tend to round up to the nearest £ so it's not 100% exact anyway). Hopefully won't have any more spends 'til new budget on friday....1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100
