  • I replied to the email yesterday about them trying to contact me [a lie really], stating which candle I would prefer and asking them to cancel the other [as I wouldn't want it to be sent at full price].

    Today, I got an email confirming the cancellation of the second candle and it is now showing as cancelled on my account. :)

    It might be worth replying to that email if you want a particular scent candle. :)

    Yep, same for me. Would definitely get in touch with them, if there is one scent you want more than others and to avoid the risk of sending any full priced items back.

    Still had no contact at all.

    The reason why people are grumpy about it, esp over at HotUkDeals is that Littlewoods are well known for these 'mistakes', they use it to get people to open accounts and onto their mailing lists. Why did they not amend it as soon as they became aware of it?

    I am fuming, no email but cancelled order, I am well within my right to be grumpy, I ordered on the 31st Dec! No refunds in sight at all.

    i had the same email they are sending one and my account now says cancelled on the other ones i had ordered cant complain at least we got one

    My orders are still showing as processing.....no call or email......but guess what....the spamming emails have started to arrive :mad:

    well after recieving the email i posted about them honoring one very have now cancelled all my candle orders - had to email them to ask what was going on. They have now placed another order for one candle although charged at full price and I now need to contact them when the order arrives so they can adjust the price - all seems a bit backwards to me lol

    oh and the expected delivery is now 25th Jan rather than the 16h
    I got ham but i'm not a hamster.....
  • How much are people being charged for shipping? Looking at my refunds it would appear to be £20 but its actually stated as 3.95.

    Frankly I dont want one candle for 12 quid! :(

    Just checked my Littlewoods account, and it's showing a reed diffuser despatched, but the remainder of the order (including a candle to match the diffuser) cancelled. Bum; I'd rather have had a candle. I don't even want just a reed diffuser.

    Was the reed diffuser a mispriced item too?
