LARGE yankee candles £8 free del to a collect+ store

Did not realise there was such a hoola about this, I ordered 5 items, candles and reed diffusers and received an automated phone call on Tuesday, said international!!,stating that due to supplier problems and the demand the order would take a while longer to arrive, to be honest I didn't really listen to closely,but there was no mention of cancellation of any description.

Just checked and my whole order is now showing as dispatched.

i telephoned them and my credit card company, nothing charged yet to my cc
they said they only charge your card when the items are despatched.

i used my paypal mastercard and the money has been taken out of the account. it's showing on the Very statement as money has been received. Money has been taken out of my paypal. So i've been charged even though items are not dispatched

I got the email and checked my littlewoods account and the first candle on the order is showing as dispatched and the other 3 have been cancelled now, not too fussed as it's still a bargain.

They did take the full amount from my bank when I placed the order though so here's hoping it'll be a straightfoward refund.

i had the call a couple of days ago now and have logged in to my littlewoods account but nothing has changed on my order since it was placed.

im grateful to at least receive one bargain candle (hopefully), i think thats a nice gesture but i am a bit miffed that i havent had my money for the rest of my order returned to my bank account yet.

I also received the "Couldn't contact you" email.

Checking my tracking in my account I see that they have cancelled all of my candles except one. Seems to me they are on the ball and giving everyone that ordered that one candle.

They've rung me twice but not been able to answer the call on either occasion. They've not left a message.

I've just checked and have the gesture of good will email. Question is, will they automatically send this and charge me shipping for it or will they send nothing unless I agree to it?

I also got the email,and have emiled them back requesting the fragrance I would prefer,hopefully I will get tha tone, but still impressed that they are honouring any, as could have just cancelled thewhole thing.

This is really weird, I emailed to say I had received the apology email but I had paid for my order in full, I've had an email back apologising but then they said the correct price was £8. So I'm really confused ???
