I've had a credit account with Littlewoods for about 20 years and i had the 'we will honour one at £8' phone call this afternoon (i had ordered 3). I'm happy to get just one at that price0 -
Most annoyed reading other posts earlier. Placed my order with Very and had a call this afternoon telling me it was miss priced and my order has been cancelled altogether with no items being sent. As Very and Littlewoods are the same company why am i being treated differently. Strong email going to Very, now they have all my personal details i had better not be bombarded with their crap, account being cancelled.0

I had the phone all from Very offering me one candle at £8. How does everyone's tracking order look - does it say the other candles are cancelled?0

It took me ages to find it. I put the wrong number originally & have since changed it so I wondered if they've tried to call myself.

mine is still showing the whole original order at the original prices, nothing altrered as yet, all saying order processed and if you try to track it just says "order received by our supplier". But i did get the call so know i am only getting oneSmokefree since 27-9-20070 -
Got a call today, one candle honoured. my online account not updated yet and I have asked for refund on rest of order as paid in advance. So will see what happens. Delighted with my candle though. Thanks Littlewoods0

I've just had the call. I chatted to the lovely guy who rang and he told me that they were ringing around thousands of people and were just getting a pile of abuse. I actually think it is pretty decent of Littlewoods to honour one candle - I followed the L'occitane glitch and the Benefit glitch and didn't get any communication. It must also be costing them a fair amount to call everyone personally. It isn't the fault of any of the people in the call centre.
I'm sure all MSEers are really nice but can I suggest we are EXTRA nice to the people who call us and give them a good review in the survey that follows?
I think this reflects very well on shopdirect/Littlewoods.0
