:: Hi Folks,

I thought it was worth adding the official Littlewoods company representative statement from further down this thread into post 1. We're going to keep the thread open soas not to stifle further debate and feedback however :

Hi,

This has been identified as a mispriced item. We need to point out that part of our Terms & Conditions do state:

3.2 Whilst it is our intention to keep our website up to date and error free, product description or pricing errors may occur. If we discover such an error after you have submitted an order to us, we will contact you prior to accepting your order with the correct details. You may then either cancel your order or re-confirm it based on the correct information. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order as cancelled.

We will therefore be contacting all customers in the next 48 hours to advise them of our next steps.

Thanks

    I find these candles very expensive, two stores near me (one a cheap shop and the other an expensive shop) sell candles of this size in both jars & tumblers in various smells. All long burning and only cost a fraction of the price.

    It seems people are paying for the Yankee Candle label when others can be purchased for a lot less, smell as nice and burn as long if not longer (I also buy replacement wicks and holders and when a candle burns down but not all of the outside wax has, I melt down and remake a candle. This way the purchase of a few can last a long long time - money saving at it's best!).
    Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.

    I've never tried Yankee candles so I was going to with this deal but I'm not paying postage,I may not like it lol

    I bought Body Shop candles a few months ago in their outlet,for about 3 pounds,they are absolutely gorgeous & make the whole house smell lovely,but as with most candles I buy,they have done that tunnelling thing,where they only burn down the middle,so loads is wasted.

    I read burning them for longer stops them tunnelling but I burn them for at least 3 hours and it still does it.

    What do you do with the leftover wax,seems a waste to throw it away?

    Click & collect isn't available on everything,so I'm assuming these candles are excluded.

    I think most people would buy Yankee candles to be guaranteed a strong smell and a long lasting candle. I have purchased some of these 'cheap' candles from discount shops in the past and they do not compare in any way whatsoever with Yankee and have been thrown in the bin. I personaly would rather pay an extra £3 (instead of a cheap £5 one) to get a Yankee scented candle and be assured of quality. That is probably why they are one of the best selling candles in the world. After all, millions of people can't be wrong but each to their own! I have ordered three, thanks OP :D

    Did you do collect+? If the answer is 'yes' could you please tell us at what stage you chose that option? TIA :o
