Morning!
Today will be NSD #3 as I have no need to spend anything today and therefore my purse will not leave the house. I need to go to the bank today to pay in my xmas money and some that I was owed which will be transfered straight onto my credit card this evening. So I'm just going to take my son to the beach today (walking there and back) and I'll take juice and snacks. My boyfriend and I completely stocked the fridge at the end of last month and we've batch-cooked loads so I'm hoping that will take us into next month with little or hopefully no need to spend. Also signed up to Swagbucks last night so need to spend time on there and see what it's all about. eBay items ending later this week so fingers crossed someone wants to pay lots of money for my old tat..they're actually old DVDs so if no-one buys them they'll be going to Music Magpie anyway.

Morning all.
NSK - thanks for the sympathy - yes I am a girlee - I am feeling a little better this morning - although sleeping in until 9:25 am may ahve helped with that one! Thankfully I am on holiday until monday!!!
I have now reached my limit with adpoints so will need to wait until Sunday to start again with that one. I am on swagbucks but never seem to quailify for a survey so my total is inching forward one point at a time - slightly frustrating.
Today is my slimming world class so there will be a small payment - but it comes out of my grocery budget so I am not sure if it counts as a NSD or not.
Keep strong everyone!!44 day challenge
1. Pay £650 off overdraft (£ 288/ £650)
2. Lose 12 lbs (4.5/ 12)
3. Use YNAB everyday (6/44)0 -
Am I ok to follow on the sidelines NSK?
I have just reduced my C/C down to £2915.65 from £3000 meaning £84.35 paid off. Will update my sig accordingly.
Signed up to Nectar Adpoints - 100 points for watching adverts is easyalong with the 250 sign up bonus.
Also signed up to Swagbucks.
Wedding planning is now in full swing with a possible date of 02/08/14 - managed to persuade the OH that winter wouldnt be viable and also the MSE way of thinking. We are coming up with ways to reduce the cost of getting married.0 -

On the other hand I heard about a more formal reception where everyone was asked to bring half a dozen cupcakes - the person who told me said that everyone was careful to only eat their own - you can imgaine what some people brought!!44 day challenge

So NSD #3...
Following the rules clarified by NSK (I did have to leave the house for milk - and came home with only milk from my grocery budget)...
I didn't leave the house yesterday because I needed the milk but didn't want to break the NSD chain so soon, but if I hadn't gone this morning I probably would have gone to SM and bought loads of crap too...
Stashbuster - 2014 98/100 - 2015 175/200 - 2016 501 / 500 2017 - 200 / 500 2018 3 / 500

Morning all!
So yesterday turned out to be a spend day anyway.... Hubs ended up spending a tenner but I'm not complaining (yet....) But today is a bona fide NSD of the complete no money leaving my hands for spends at all.
I can't remember who it was that has sausage and mash for dins tonight, but me too
Anyone else found swagbucks to be a bit slow the last few days? I'm reallllly struggling. On the plus side, 1 more ebay item has been bid on so will sell. YAY!
And the big news of today is..... Hubs got paid. Went over the budget for the month again (For the millionth, gazillionth time, I look at it 2 or three times a day. Is this normal? Should I be worried?) and I realised that for him, it's a 5 payday month. Shifted the extra all about and am OVER THE MOON to say that, for the first time in 5 years, our debt is now UNDER £6000.00.

Well I am home sick.. reading threads as you all post! And watching "Cowboy Trap" - all those poor Grannies with some dodgy builder ruining their conservatory dreams... I'd like to have a special NSK word with each of them!!
However your posts have been very inspiring! I shall be posting here and there and have a blog to write for my other website endeavour and lots of hot lemon with honey ( NOT lemsip )...
WELCOME to all the lurkers by the way - we appreciate cheerleaders. :j:j:j
MancMan welcome and thanks for the update.. when plans are settled tell us what your wedding budget is... I have this dream of keeping mine down to £6000... oh hang on I need someone to marry first....hahahahahaaa!
Right keep it going fols - I am en route to an NSD by default by suffering with Kat-flu..:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:...

for all those that were ill! This is a big HUG!!!
Onwards and Upwards..“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".0 -
Hugs to you as well NSK!!
Just popping in to say that I have found another way to gather thiose pennies -although I am sure that the more experienced amongst us will already know this one. On the freebies board there is a link to join the royal mail surveys board. As far as I can see they send you random amounts of mail over a three week period and you record it. You then receive a voucher for £5 worth of stamps. Seems worth it to me.44 day challenge
