LionHeartedGirl - .." I know all about debt collectors and credit cards - maybe they should print that in the fashion magazines"....OOOhhh right ON!!! I just turned over to have a look at it before it ends.. shoulda watched this from the beginning!
I have really bad skin as well and was using Environ but their moisturiser alone is £27 and I couldn't justify the spend.. what do you use..? I am now on soap and water ( and medication )...boo hiss!
Well my dentist appointment that I booked months ago with the student dentists at St Guys hospital apparently isn't on their books so I might resume at work and get back in tomorrow. I shall see how I feel but I was looking forward to a good clean and scrub of the nashers. They are investigating why it wasn't booked in properly! GRR!
GelMC I am in the same boat as you. Buying healthy foods and over-spending, and I have around £200 until the end of the month. I get paid on the last day of the month so I am holding it all in until then. I have nothing going out except for food and petrol ( already budgeted elsewhere )..“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. I couldn't find us I didnt know we were moving to diary thread ?
Anyway hope your feeling better soon Kat. I have NSD 3 today I am still resisting the sales my friend at work has just spent £250 on coat and boots in the sale. They are very nice and I was a little bit jealous. However I DO NOT NEED THEM ! I have kept my money in my pocket (of my old coat) I feel very pleased with myself for resisting again. I cannot wait for the sales to end it is like torture everyone talking about them at work. Hope everyone had a good day love p0lly xJBFF # 20 NSD 12/25

Spendy day for me; bought myself my bus pass for the month. I normally buy it weekly but save myself £5 by buying it this way and I get more NSDs so its win-win!
I also went on a rummage around the house and found some change buried in coats and bags to add to the £25 target. I'll think I'll have to face the dreaded ebay to make up the rest.
Feel better soon kat!2023 Mortgage-Free Wannabe #19: £11,675.68/£13,000

OK to hell with it. Can you sign me up KAT?
I resisted another challenge as I am part of so many, but this one is quite different to the rest, and after reading all the rules, I don't think it will be too hard for me.
Ebay used to be impossible for me because i did'nt go out much in the day and live too far in the sticks to justify the extra fuel to get to the post office. But since my LBM I have cancelled the childrens school bus (£400 each per year ) and I now have to drive them the 2 miles to school. Right next to the school is a small post office, so can easily post my Ebay sales in there.:T.
I have already signed up for 25 NSD, again living in the sticks and not working, I am not often anywhere near the shops to spend any money. Did well during December with 21 NSD:).
25 in January should be a breeze..
Made £40 on Ebay today and have over 10 other items for sale.
Need to stay on track and kill off this debt and I think you may be the girl to help me :T
Thanks KAT0 -
I don't understand why this has been moved - that's really silly considering it will finish come the end of January...?? I will investigate...“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Blimming heck - it's just taken me an age to find you.
I had to do a big search and everything, that'll teach me to suscribe to threads in future.
It's mixed news... I've had an unexpected spend today. I'd put £50 aside to go back to SW today and ended up spending £52.45 in total. I could have kept it below £50 but was so devastated with my weight gain over December that I bought a magazine and a raffle ticket at class. I'm not sure how inspired I feel to be honest - I feel really gutted at how fat I got in a month, but never mind.
Other than that, no spend.
I also finally got round to ringing S'bubs about some cat food I'd bought from there over Christmas. It was meant to be a variety box and when I opened it, it was full of cat food for seniors (7+) and our poor kitty isn't a year old yet. But I'd had to use some as I'd run out of food for him. They refunded me £5.25 for the food, plus an extra £10 for my inconvenience. Lovely, and the cat will have to make do with some senior food. I'm counting that as £15.25 of my find £25.
Anyway, still doing fine for fuel and groceries so far this month. Hope everyone else is doing ok, and I'd best get on and subscribe to this.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -
Get well soon NSK! Managed another NSD, made soup and trying to find more stuff to get rid of and make some pennies! Still to do SB and adpoints today. Got £5 SB voucher which I should receive soon and will use towards food - is that okay to count towards the £25 NSK? Hope work is okay for all that are back. Nearly the weekend!0
