Oh gillybean I'm sorry hun, must have been hard for you x

I've finally cleared out the airing cupboard :) Feel very pleased with myself. Why are the task we keep putting off as they just seem to big to handle, a lot easier and quicker than we expect, but sometimes the little jobs can take aaaaggggeeess!

I have managed to also, put another wash load on, and hang both up to dry. Empty and clean bin, empty dishwasher and sort out my shoes. Typical, I found a pair for the charity shop, when I went yesterday. Think I'll put them away until I've listed all my ebay stuff and see what doesn't sell and then take it all to the charity shop then. Hate having it hanging around though.

Still trying to write my OU assignment, hoping to get a little extension to give me time to breath!

Oh my god I'm tired, dd woke up at 5 and won't go back to sleep, I'm knackered!

Think the first thing is to have a coffee

Had a bad day yesterday unfortunately we had to have one of our dogs rehomed due to lots of reasons I'm not going into but I'm giving the house a deep clean.

As for the rest of the day,I'll have a sleep when dd does or I won't make it through the day

Awh sorry doggy had to go, my friend had to let her cat go due to issues, and found out that he is now very happy in a nice home in the surrey countryside:D

Today girls had me up at 5:30am, so after a strong coffee i shall attack the washing up, give the toilet a swish.
Then take dd3 to nursery and meet up with a friend.
After the early morning i fully expect to be asleep straight after the kids tonight lol!

I am so glad my kids are mostly old enough to not be waking up at silly o'clock any more - tho the youngest still climbs in bed with me sometimes when Hubby has gone to work.

And WOW!! Sorting just 2 drawers took aaaaages. Thrown loads away but kept loads too. Anyone know how long you should keep wage slips? I have kept 6 years worth and destroyed the rest.

    Hi everyone

Need to post here or I will never keep my motivation

Kids at school and i've already been to the shops and bought what i needed. Ive portioned the chicken and its in the freezer. Played freezer tetris and everything is now tidied up so I can fit everything in.

One of my resolutions was to try the local shops, local butcher was really good but the greengrocers prices were astronomical. One head of brocolli was £2.70, not organic or anything special and it wasn't even particularly fresh so i left it and bought exactly the same as iceland for a £1, such a shame.

Still need to sort out 3 bin bags of clothes, change beds and wash the bedding, make headway through the ironing, clean bathroom and sort my wardrobe. And i've got a friend coming for lunch so I must dash.

  • I love lists!
Just written my list for today and enjoying crossing off things as they are done.
Back to the paid work as well but do so from home, so flitting in and out.
    Dinner in Sc
    Kitchen cleaned
    Floor hoovered and steam cleaned.
    LR tidied
Off to collect parcel and do a dump run at the same (multi tasking, oh yeah!!)

    Afternoon All!

I have been AWOL for a fair few days, have been super poorly with quincy. It's horrific. Feeling a tad better today though!

    Today i have:

Arranged swimming lessons for both DS's
Sorted Council Tax to some extent!
Name is down for BSL course (Full but i'm on reserve)
Lots of washing hokey cokey - machine hasnt been on since Thursday!

    I need to

    Hoover and mop EVERYWHERE
Find a cheap date for DH and I on Friday. (Brothers babysitting so can go out!) All suggestions welcome!

A favourite of ours is to get a chippy and take it to a local beauty spot. If its dry we sit out on a blanket (sometimes in many many layers! And this place is gorgeous in the dark too). If its wet we sit in the car.

Only the cost of the chippy but we get to talk, enjoy the view and just enjoy the company :)

I second that.I have very happy memories of grabbing fish and chips from the barbican then going off and sitting in the (now exes) car eating it,watching the sea..

Dates don't have to cost anything,or even just a little. Some of the best I had were free or incredibly cheap

Are there any free screening tickets for your area?

or check out 2 4 1 meals at local pubs, I know brewyers fare are doing deals, but depends on if a there are any near you and b if they are any good.

    nice romantic moonlite walk/beach walk

friend of mine recently booked a travel lodge £9 room, had lots of sex and went home again - obviously they didn't stay the night, just used the room for a few hours.... i laughed lots when she told me that :rotfl:

If you have a revolution near you there were some vouchers floating around for free cocktails.

thats all i can think of right now:j
I need to start saving so I plan to save £2 a week to start with:beer:

Even Beefeater is ok for a date :) been a little over a year since I've been there mind, but used to meet ex there on a Friday evening when he'd finished work and ds was at respite.Just being out together is often enough! It makes a change from the normal family stuff.

Walks are brilliant too and can save the cost on hotel rooms, depending on where you walk ;) just watch out for deer..:rotfl:

Ah,I'm sure I'll be finding dates and organising them a nightmare when I get to have them again:rotfl:

Just make sure in all your ' organising' plans for the home you make sure you plan time to just be the pair of you too :)

Talking of organising,as much I have to be organised and it (unfortunately) now comes naturally due to having an autistic son lol, does anyone else find they are constantly running out of storage and have to buy more?

Think I need to work on my organising storage organising
