So the last few days have been a bit of a disaster really on the organising and tidy stuff
So although I wrote the thank you letters they are awaiting postage as I lost my stamps!
The meal planner for this week is sorted but not the full month yet!
Still need to sort and organise the massive filing cabinet
update our folder of days out leaflets
Finish my list of free places locally to visit and places near close friends (12 on the list so far)
Sort out some toys to sell on ebay
add other stuff to sell on ebay
Sort out craft trolley
sort out boxes under the bed
Arrange special days for valentines, anniversary, mothers day, and birthday
Try to sort out family holiday - if i can make it work I intend to try and do this hoilday thing with the daily mail - henry is 2 and we have never had a holiday!
Find away to bring in some money
Finish sorting classes/groups to take henry too
Arrange meeting with nursery to book Henry in for september
MUST REMEMBER to arrange days appropriately to use least petrol (we live in the sticks and I have aloted 1 full tank a month, not done this yet so no idea how sensible this is, but need to amend my activites so I am not over spending on petrol or going to town every day, or twice a day from lack of planning)
I plan to do 1 trip a month to york for food/extra cheap shopping could incorporate it with free day out maybe but not sure how bored henry will get with the NRM and parking aint cheap!
Need to make sure I can do morrisons weekly shop on the same day as art classes (Tues)and nowhere else in the car that day
then structure other classes activities accordingly - should be easy really but I still seem to spend nearly every day driving 10 miles to town!
Sorry for the mamoth post I think I was just typing what i was thinking!I need to start saving so I plan to save £2 a week to start with:beer:0 -
Urgghh. Baby didn't sleep at all last night, so not sure how much I'm going to get done today.
Am selecting the following tasks that HAVE to be done
1/ Christmas tree down & decs away
2/ FIND UTR AND DO TAX RETURN!!!! I have all the figures for it, and I won't owe anything, but the £100 fine is looming at the end of Jan...
3/ one load laundry and hoovering
4/ clean bathroom
5/ menu planner
6/ birthday present for a 4yo party tomorrow. And wrap. I have cards. I want to make more presents, but draw the line at £5 gifts for school birthday parties unless very close friend.
I am beyond tired...

I have one tank a month as well, it sucks having to plan trips but on mat pay we can't afford for me to use it willy nilly. My ikea trip yesterday was 1/4 tank so we'll see how the rest of the month goes. Luckily school is walking distance and OH works next door to Sainsburys so I can get him to pick stuff up.
Lucky you getting to go to York, I grew up there and miss it a lot now we live in Oxfordshire... Still visit sometimes though!0 -
Morning. Awake early too, typical for Sat! Got parents and brother coming down today so tidy house will not be so by the end of today.....
Must walk dog 1st as my niece is scared of all furry animals and she'll have to stay in her crate.:( It's great when I have 5 cats and 1 dog and she whinges every time 1 moves. Is it too early for that gin and tonic?
Dump run, charity shop run to be done today too. I WILL stay organised....:rotfl:2015 £2 Saver #82
SPC #323 £66 (2014)
Pay All your Debt off by Xmas 2015 #104

Good luck with that list...0 -

I've just found 'evidence' that we have a mouse lurking behind the kitchen cupboards so all plans for today have been put on hold. DH has just pulled all the kickboards out whilst I pull everything out of the cupboard - only pots and pans as all others are sealed - and get it all washed. Our killer cats are patrolling the kitchen!
I don't think I'll be putting everything back into the cupboard other than humane traps. I'm trying to be reasonable about it. We do live in the middle of the countryside so its to be expected that we may have visitors but we've lived here for 14 years now and this is the first time it has happened.0 -
