Yes, lots thanks. We get sent to jobs like this routinely, usually to stop the protagonists squaring up to each other. If we need to talk to witnesses, they'll usually tell us that one was as silly as the other, that neither would give way.personal experience perhaps?
The problem with your response to this is that someone has to give in. If one driver is as bloody minded as the other, these antagonistic episodes often continue until the drivers go their separate ways.and no if I was a !!!!!! I'd admit it, I'm honest like 90% of this population who wait their turn and don't have a "me first " attitude.
You're not a victim, you have a duty to peacefully accommodate and avoid other motorists. He initiates the careless inconsiderate driving. You only join him as a careless driver when you start to spar with him. So whether you want to be the !!!!!! in the eyes of other drivers is up to you. There are plenty of careless drivers and speeders around. It's not your job to be the vigilante. Just ignore them, their time will come.the bottom line is my post was about being aggravated by these idiots who push in, not that I'm one of them, so I'm not the !!!!!! am I , I'm the victim,
Why do you not do what they do, take the outside lane, but instead of bullying in, just go round the roundabout. That should allow you perhaps 13 or 14 minutes of your precious sleep back!I get up 15 minutes earlier for work every day so these kind of people can get their lie in - no exaggeration either, I'm afraid this is how these people work and the time frames involved for me.

There you go someone esle posting an alternative, not once have you commented on this option.
I suspect you just want to continue your rant on or off the road0 -

because it's cheating and it just doesn't sit well with me, especially if I hold those others that do it is such disregard- though, of the two, going round it is obviously the far safer option, you haven't then just got a couple of exits to push your way into a stream of traffic and believe me it's very busy at those times on the A610. (- there lieth the problem with its associated anti social system beaters that have developed their craft in response to not wanting to wait!) I also am well aware that the bullies will do just this when I send them round and circle it again - but two points here, point 1 is they haven't taken my time from me, and point 2 at least someone somewhere has annoyed them for once, and that's a nice change because usually they're the ones who take chances and annoy everyone else- and i've personally seen them nearly plough into safe law abiding drivers before just to get there faster, and if i'm honest (and have been throughout this thread) that annoys the f** k out of me.
that turn is so bad and gives such advantage to the "entitled ones" of the four ringed saloons it almost warrants bollards down the connector from centre to right so a bit of concrete makes these idiots reassess their stupid cheating behaviour
on a slightly further out philosophical note - if you look into history, vigilantes only start to appear when society starts to not work i.e. the criminals become the heroes, or at the very least, their behaviour tolerated and supported. Not that I consider myself a vigilante, with some captain america badge on me , I'm far less lofty than that, i'm simply a disgruntled motorist sick of getting cut up by idiots - its the other point in this paragraph about society that worries me.0 -

Point 1 - you may have saved two seconds, not 15 minutes. It may make you feel better but it won't have saved you time. It may well earn both drivers a summons if I or a colleague are in an unmarked patrol car behind you, but I guess you feel that's a price worth paying.
point 2 - they will be totally familiar with the 'Mr Angrys' who try to prevent their entry into the lane. They will either pull in behind you or go round. They've still saved at least 14 minutes according to your timings. They will not be influence by your antics to do what you want them to do, so be the bigger man, and rise above it.Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler.0 -

no I don't most people drive like me and don't feign a right and then change lanes on an actual roundabout to push in, as a traffic cop you know this to be the case, as you see the queues daily
am I to take it from the other posts you have made , that you would pull someone for driving like this i.e. long before anyone like me came along ? would you arrest anyone like that? I'd like to see it, seriously, because it is dangerous. I shouldn't have to be behaving (right or wrong) how I do0 -
You use the word 'cheating' which is not a term I recognise from any driving code. It's not a terminology I approve of in terms of road etiquette. Driving is not a game to win or lose, it's not a competition. I think you need to relax a little about other's misdemeanours and concentrate on keeping yourself safe from them rather than react to them.
.
FWIW, I don't see this kind of thing daily, we don't have such bottlenecks where this kind of advantage can be gained.
If I was in the unmarked and someone forced their way into the lane ahead of me, they would be spoken to. It's an inconsiderate selfish act, and usually careless. Their attitude would have a significant part to play in how I would deal with them. I might recommend they take a driver improvement course in lieu of prosecution, or they may get off with a warning if I feel they have taken on board what I've said.am I to take it from the other posts you have made , that you would pull someone for driving like this i.e. long before anyone like me came along ? would you arrest anyone like that? The move isn't dangerous, it's not going to cause any problem..... UNTIL Mr vigilante decides to turn it into a dangerous situation!
Emotions shouldn't be taken onto the roads....“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

It is inconsiderate, and will usually qualify as careless if the road user in the established lane is required to alter course or speed to accommodate a person forcing his way into a lane. Having a spat with such a driver merely creates two wrongs.Strider590 wrote: »The move isn't dangerous, it's not going to cause any problem..... :T Another thing just happened to me, can I sue?
We have a long country road, some of it dual carriageway, with a 50 limit, I just followed a BMW, 12 reg. that kept to the limit!
I am in shock! Oh just realised it is Sunday, perhaps driving nervous parents home?0
