neil, why don't you just get some bottle, come out and admit you're one of those entitled !!!!!!!!!!s of society that thinks normal rules don't apply to them and that they are more important than the rest of us. Stop kicking a dead horse and defending rude people behaving like idiots, or admit that it is because you are one of them

do you push your way to the front of queues as well? do you expect service first at a restaurant when you turn up last? did you parents tell you you were more important than everyone else and that the silver spoon up your backside really really mattered for half your life

get in line and wait your turn you are no better than anybody else
Oh dear, resulted to insults now have we. The only person in this entire thread that's shown to behave like an idiot was you in your very first post -
I'm bored, but more than that I'm angry, and have a reasonably powerful car, so I've started blocking the w**nkers that do this. slowing down and speeding up to make sure justice prevails at least while it's my watch

it'd be an issue to you if you were driving to work and some nutter swerved in front of you with zero space just before the roundabout exit causing you to smash the whole front of your car into theirs brought on by their violent braking to make the exit they weren't in the right lane for!
The road is not the place for ego-warriors. If a driver tries to bully in front of you, you need to let him if you can do so safely. Yes, he is driving inconsiderately, perhaps carelessly, but it is not your place to make a bad situation worse. They will hopefully eventually get the points on their licence that they deserve.

neil, you keep coming back to this point don't you, that it's only me that behaves like an idiot?

again and again, you criticise my behaviour which at the very worse is a reaction to existing bad behaviour from people like you ,intimating that I'm the idiot for shutting the barn door when the horse has bolted.

All I am doing at my very worse is varying my speed in the lane I am in, which is the correct one, which I have the right to do .......all people like you are doing at best is defending idiots who cut in on forums mercifully out of a motor car because you are one of those obnoxious people, and at worse, you're risking lives actually doing it on a road, because you feel entitled and because you feel self important

This just crystallises my point really, people like you will keep doing it because in your eyes you're not doing any wrong and therefore can't appreciate your own bad behaviour because you are better than everyone else! Next time someone is rude and cuts you up, realise, that you can't get annoyed because you are one of those people yourself!

get in line and wait your turn you are not better than the rest of us, and I don't care if you have 20 cars and 40 houses, get in line, join the queue.

I've been driving 15 years and have not crashed once, not even scraped the paint, my insurance is rock bottom. 15 years - before people try and call it co incidence, means I am a great driver. Neil and his merry band of on road bullies may disagree but to be honest I don't care as long as its not him doing the insurance quote :rotfl:

but I do not and will not make it easy for them because I have always stood up to bullies, the arrogant and the self important.

You are very selective in your responses.

Being in a driving job and doing anything from 100-300 miles per day I see this a lot, but frankly would rather a bully-boy driver in front of me rather than behind me where he is likely to be sat on my ar5e significantly increasing the risk of me being hit in case of having to brake suddenly.

Admittedly though I am guilty of pushing in during rush hour, but wouldn't consider myself a "bully" of a driver - I will pull in to spaces which are clearly safe to do so or indicate to change lanes in which case somebody will usually oblige. Neither of which should be considered 'bullying'.

Your red mist is not helpful on the road; and when the accident happens I guarantee you will try to deny the independent witness accounts that you were being as much of a !!!!!! as the other driver.

You seem to make a great number of assumptions about me and like throwing insults about but can you quote a single post of mine in this thread where I've advocated bad, dangerous or bullying driving behaviour. Have I not always said that a driver can only change lane when its "safe and legal" to do so?

You started this thread off as rant and it's clear that's how you want to end it, I'll leave the rest to you.

neil - changing lane on a roundabout on purpose to push in - acceptable or not acceptable?

you have called me an idiot numerous times, what are people who do this on roundabouts to you? justified? are you one of these people?

    personal experience perhaps?

and no if I was a !!!!!! I'd admit it, I'm honest like 90% of this population who wait their turn and don't have a "me first " attitude.

the bottom line is my post was about being aggravated by these idiots who push in, not that I'm one of them, so I'm not the !!!!!! am I , I'm the victim, I get up 15 minutes earlier for work every day so these kind of people can get their lie in - no exaggeration either, I'm afraid this is how these people work and the time frames involved for me.
