  • cootuk, thanks for you advice :)
I haven't heard a dickie bird from him anyway since i sent him the photos ;)

Parcelforce still showing 'in progress' and it's now 6pm!

You have to show, attempted delivery, delivery or refusal. The fact that you have used PF, may leave the 'status' as contentious to say the least. If it shows as 'held' and the seller refuses to collect, then you will not win the case. You have to hope they at least attempt to deliver and you can screenshot the status.

It shouldn't as i've paid for tracked and signed for also with enhanced cover. If it still says in progress tomorrow i'll call them and if need be make a claim for the £150 through RM

Return postage isn't granted, at least not by eBay - your seller would have to do that voluntarily and I don't think it's going to be forthcoming.

The 'eCheque' is normal - if the seller has no funds in Paypal then Paypal have to acquire the money from their bank. It should go through but it obviously takes a while to actually clear.

It's great that you got a refund - the specifics are annoying but come back here if it actually fails. I don't think it will.

    Best of luck :).

No - eBay simply don't enforce that. It is 100% down to him to refund you.

I agree - it is very frustrating. eBay US have made some arrangements for return postage but eBay UK only do it in a very select set of circumstances, for instance where the seller does not respond to the dispute.

All I can say is I have heard some people get goodwill payments from eBay if a sale is problematic/goes to dispute, but I doubt you can 100% count on that either.
