Ebay...mis-sold...WTD now?

When you escalate the case eBay will give you an opportunity to provide tracking details.
I agree with Oli - your seller is probably just doing this because he thinks he can get away without refunding - I don't think he is just misguided. Normally someone who is going to accept that the item is damaged will do so happily, and I think you need to focus on the 320/500 GB discrepancy more than the scuff mark.
Just let the dispute take its course. eBay won't be swayed by him if you can prove a return.
I do love your sig-quote.

Good morning all. I have read a few threads talking about uploading tracking and pop. I have sent the seller a photo of the pop however I now have a scanned copy. Should I be uploading this info elsewhere?DEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0

You should be able to go into the dispute and add the tracking.
BTW, tracking isn't a POP. Why did you send the seller the copy of the POP?0 -
He asked for it as he said 'he didn't trust a thing i say' :rotfl:

I don't know what time they deliver until nationwide, but for us it is no later than 4pm, but we are remote. They only downside is that if the addressee isn't home they can leave it at the nearest Post Office to be collected.0

Thanks, it will say returned to post office though?DEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0

Well, it usually says something like 'held' or 'holding' and doesn't give you much of a clue unless you know that's what they do or if you ring and ask them what it means.0

Thanks. Not showing delivered yet. Hurry up i want my refundDEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0

I believe the tracking only needs to show attempted delivery, so the seller can't just refuse to accept it.
Even if the seller cancels their paypal account, you will get refunded (if found in your favour) and paypal will then chase the seller separately. The seller can't refuse to refund, it will be done automatically if they don't.
I know it's difficult, but you need to take one great big chill, and not get wound up into talking with the seller outside of the complaint, especially for someone who is obnoxious like this.
It seems obvious that they tried to scam you, it didn't work, and now they are trying to bully you.0 -
 cootuk, thanks for you advice
