    if any problems with sky just threaten to cancel, dont pay instulation fees etc or for new box. simply go through to cancellations ask to cancel they offer u service free ie i got free broadband conection reuter etc and change sky plus box for sis for nothing. The engineer told me thats there policy to keep buisness

    Gutted, i had an engineer round yesterday & he, changed the LNB, re-allinged the dish & put new connectors on the end of the wires, but DIDNT change the box, then said it will be ok now :( (wassnt much wrong with it, just wanted a new, updated box with anytime ...lol) proper gutted

    i had a superb day from sky y-day
    they came round and i told them the problem
    and he said i will get u a new box but he had 2 contact his m8 2 get the same box and he couldnt be asked 2 find him so he said hes got 1 brand new lastest sky box and i go yh take that m8 sorted the dish and new conecters in superb i think

    Brand new sky box just been fitted for me :D

    Dish realligned , and a number for same day call out if theres any problems in the next 30 days :D

    Have just sent my email off - I hate it when it stutters when you have put something good to watch on your planner - its so annoying - lets hope this solves the problem?

    i sent off my email on sunday night and got a reply today. Wasn't too hopeful at beginning as it said they can't see any comments on my account regarding me complaining of the box (weird as my last complaint was saturday night lol) but does go on to say an engineer will be here next tuesday free of charge to check and supply a new box.

    Engineer came around this morning, new box, new remote and kindly fitted us with a brand new dish.

    finally watch the recordings without them skipping every 30 seconds
  • Have had some of these problems just sent the email.
    I have an Amstrad box so hopefully I will get a replacment.
