Had two little pots with change in from forever ago so added that to the sealed pot, was surprised that it added up to £1.02. I reckon I must have at least a fiver in my sp already!
DH came back from tour late last night and was up early this morning. He changed jeans and emptied his pockets but sadly I was too slow to nab the change he took out lol, must try harder!!Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!:starmod: Emergency Fund Savings - #148 - £10/£1000 1% :starmod::xmastree:#083 SPC6 £63 - SPC7 £90 - SPC8 £63 - SPC9 £54 - SPC10 £26 - SPC12 £70 :xmastree:0 -
Can I join again, and I must confess I haven't counted by last year's pot, but will defo do it tomorrow.
Hi elliemoo, good to see you coming out for hibernation....though it'll be good to see you struggle over to SPC 5 with your Total. After all these years and you don't know that you don't need to rejoin??! That's you stuck with your No and never any need to rejoin.
Hi Sue
Can I join SP6?
My numbers #1647
Was chuffed to bits with what I saved on SP5, so can my target be changed to £300?
Hiya roguexuk. You, like all the others don't need to rejoin. I've updated your Target to £300 as required, with luck and a fair wind, after this great year, you should reach it!! :grinheartsparky0107 wrote: »Good morning everyone
It's been very slow on the declaring of totals front. So it'll be a few days before the Grand Total is declared by our fearless leader Sue.
My daily coinage has been potted, I'm trying for £3 a day. Also found 21p road change yesterday.
Morning sparky, hope it's a good'n for you. Well done on the 21p, that's the first you've had for a while isn't it? Sign of harder times maybe, though you'll be over the park when the kiddies/youngsters are on holiday!!
ooooh 10p roadkill in 2 lots, mishmogs! Lets hope your right about it being a good omen. BTW, where did you get you VW camper? I'd love to have one of those.
Hiya b_e_g, I hope you had a lovely time. Re your question to sparky about the Grand Total, it'll be a while yet as there are still SO many yet to declare. Still, once we do get there I'll announce it in style so you don't miss it. BTW b_e_g, did you see that Footie's back at last?!!!!! Like a bad penny she turned up tother night!Lovely to see folk return after a spell MIA.
VERY good, Elle, keep hard at it.skilly wrote:Morning all, £6.22 in pot this morning ,got my eye on some change my dh has left by his side of the bed if its still there this afternoon it's mine lol ;-)
£6.22 is wonderful, skilly!! :j However, keep :shhh: about your hubby's cash...but good luck this afternoon! :grinheart
Very good, mossy, you've made a great start to the challenge, though a darned shame about your DH's change...must be quicker next time!Have a lovely day, everyone.
Sue xAnyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's never too late.There may be a lot of us, but don't feel intimidated, we're a lovely lot, so come on in.:grinheartPlease read the 1st post on Page 1 first so you know what's what.Sealed Pot Challenge 001 My Totals = 08 = £163.95 09 = £315.78 10 = £518.80 11 = £481.87 12 = £694.53 13 = £1200.20! 14 = £881 15 = £839.21 16 = £870.48 17 = £871.52 18 = £800.00 19 = £851.022021=£820.26[/SizeGrand Totals of all members (2008 uncounted) 2009 = £32.154.32! 2010 = £37.581.47! 2011 = £42.474.34! 2012 = £49.759.46! 2013 = £50.642.78! 2014 = £61.367.88!! 2015 = £52.852.06! 2016 = £52, 002.40!! 2017 = £50,456.23!! 2018 = £47, 815.88! 2019 = £38.538.37!!!! :j0 -
OMG I cannot believe how astronomical this chalenge has become.. I was in on the original first and second sealed pots.. but haven't joined in for a couple of years.. soooo on that note
Could I please be added to the list
Also just noticed a few people back on page 1 talking about pocket money for kids.. my older two are 10 & 12 and get £3.50pw pocket money, but they have to do their jobs in order to get it.. any days they skip gets them 50p deducted... They are only small jobs, so 12 year old has to empty dishwasher each day, 10 year old has to feed dog each day (obviously if he skips a day I feed the dog lol)
Looking forward to joining in xx
EDIT
I AM ON THE LIST ALREADY lol... Number 075... told you I was an old timer haha...
In that case could I please have a target of £400 please xxUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Helloooo redmel!! It's really lovely to see old faces (meant in the best possible way) returning. You've no need to rejoin and your No is 075 and if you could kindly pop it on your siggy I'd be very grateful, it helps both sparky & I so much at the end of the year. Don't be a stranger now will you!
What you do with your youngsters is what DH & I used to do with ours, only small jobs, but if they failed, money was not given! It helps them to learn about cash and responsibility though.
I love your avatar, beautiful!
B]Edit[/B There you are you see, you found yourself! Hasn't SPC grown! Very successful over the last 5 years indeed

I have updated siggy with number and target, so will see how I get on. I do have a handful of change in my pot already, so will leave that in to 'start me off';)

Morning everyone!
Aw dear FiL has given me a bag containing £5 worth of 20p coins :kisses3: He says he only likes notes  It seems a shame to take them all out to pop in my pot so I will bank them tomorrow, safely out of reach, but am adding them to my siggy to be included at the end of the new challenge. This is quite a good start for me, however, and I have just potted a shiny 10p left over from my weekly allowance!
BTW a big WELCOME! to any Newbies and returning old friends. The more the merrier!
Stay warm today everyone. It's mighty cold out there...very frosty :xmassmile xSealed Pot Challenge #012
