Ahh glad your feeling better 'our sue' :D though dont be encouraging the young man to keep roadkill from me and my pot  what you up to woman!! your supposed to be on MY side :rotfl:

2 1/2 weeks (supposedly) until new car day :j :j we're getting a bit overexcited here in the jakesmum house, and the kids have already had the riot read to them . . . no sweets, no drinks, no feet on backs of chairs, no colouring pens, no sticky fingers on the windows . . . im still thinking of more . . . by the time we pick it up they might get wrapped up in cellophane before being allowed to travel in it  :rotfl:

No pennies today as havent been out :( really need to go to the post office and to pick up Jakes glasses but am soooo not up to it at the minute, might have to send the boy genius to do both tomorrow tbh, wont he be thrilled ;)

Sue - sorry to hear you've been unwell for so long, but pleased to hear you are on the mend.

Jakesmum - I know that feeling of the local shop seeming like it may as well be on the moon, because you are just not gonna get to it that day. But fingers crossed that it passes and you don't get the long episode of illness that you had before.

I've had a NSD as anticipated but may venture out tomorrow if I have the stamina. Got "restless legs" at the moment!!!! Wish they would restlessly get me out of the house. lol :)

Oh dear, Yorkshire_Pudding, I'm sorry to hear about your condition, I've just looked it up briefly and it sounds painful. Will it last long?

The doctor said it can sometimes be brought on by a virus, which is the case with me. She said it can sometimes take weeks or months to get back to normal, she gave me some anti-inflammatorys and painkillers to help. Thankfully it is starting to ease now! I hope you are feeling better now? x

I hav'nt been out anywhere today so did'nt get any change to pot. But then I put some things for sale on my local fb selling page, and sold a bag of children's building blocks for £3 - in the pot it went :D

YOU are doing sooo very well now, Ruth!! So sorry to hear about your treasured dog dying, but hadn't he done well!! Your Squash sounds quite a character, another SPCer! :j

Glad to see you're feeling better Sue, it's good to have you back.

Thank you for the words re my dog. I keep telling my mum and dad they NEED to get another. I don't want to replace him but so many times i forget he's not around. I miss having a dog constantly in the way, under my feet and covering me in fur lol.

Squash is a little SPCer, if only i could train her to find money also. If i empty my purse whilst she is locked in her cage she screams until i let her out to help lol. Crazy bird. i'll have to buy her something with my money for all her help
