Enjoy your holiday beccah, sorry to hear about your relationship ending but enjoy your time away with your children, their smiles are all that matter
Hugs to you Nells, good luck with your next chemo round, and you prove there is a silver lining to every cloud no matter how small! losing your hair is awful, but its bloomin hot so enjoy the coolness (wasnt quite sure how to word that but you know what I mean! theres a heartfelt message in there, but im really not very eloquent)
Ahh my LC2 returns, see I threaten her with an email and she pops back up! even my bestie mate will look for any reason not to have me message her  :rotfl:
DS has paid another £5 off his bill (only £10 to go) it feels like a lifetime since he started paying it back! also chucked a handful of change in the pot with it
Grrr at DS, took him and DD to the park today and the jammy so and so found £3 at the top of the slide! AND refused to put it in the pot! I mean! I thought I made it clear to all, roadkill goes in the pot! :rotfl:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £25/£10000 -
I just wanted to say a very big Thank You to all who have posted their sympathies to me....It is very touching, and I appreciate every kind word and thought....
My mum was an amazing lady, capable of the most unconditional love I have ever witnessed....I am honoured that I was her daughter and take great comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering from the dreadful disease that took away the person she was, some 9 years ago....
I think of her daily and hope that never changes....sometimes I laugh, often I cry, but deep down I know she has not completely gone....she lives on in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren...and whenever I need to see her, I look in the faces of those who loved her....
So, god bless you mum, wherever you are now....I'll miss you always xJAN 2013 - NEW YEAR - NEW LIFE

Hi all, sorry I've been away for a long time looks like I have a lot of posts to catch up with. I'm still potting away and now adding dinner money to it so hopefully if I can keep it up might be a nice sum at end. Not long to go now though ( sorry if this offends lol ) doesn't seem long since I started in January. Hugs to all who need them.

Potted 20p this morning that I found under one of the sofa cushions. Havn't got anything else to pot as I'm not going out anywhere today lol. Weighed my pot too and it is now 1.94kg
I also need to go and buy some more tins as by the looks of it, this one will be full soon. I have 3 of my 4 children in on the sealed pot challenge too! They all have tins like mine and now instead of spending their money on sweets ect they pot it! My oldest is 12 and has even been mowing peoples lawns and walking neighbours dogs and potting the money he gets. And their grandad gave them £5 each pocket money for their pots the other day, did'nt give me any though! Booo! lol xSealed Pot Challenge Member #2806

Sorry to see the sad news on the forum today, big hugs around
I put a whopping £13.20 in this weekend after constantly spending notes, then not putting the cash into my pot. Now I have caught up!

A £2 coin for the tin today, they have been very scarce lately, and some schrapnel in the big tub!
Really not been well today at all, so a very quick message from me as I think im going to take to my bed early tonighthave a feeling I might be housebound again within the next month as im struggling to get out the door again and mum has now offered to take over my weekly shop for me
Very fed up as last time I was housebound it was over 8 months before I got out the door again, couldnt even walk the 2 mtrs from the front door to the car. Knew it was coming as my dizzy spells and sight blackouts have been getting so much more frequent lately. At least this time DD is at school so isnt trapped in the house with me, and DH is at home so can do the school runs. Sadly the thing im most upset about is that I know I now cant go with DH to pick up the new car in 3 weeksbut struggling to get to the town centre 3 minutes away means 30 minutes to the city centre is well out of my reach
