Depends exactly how it was worded. But most likely he can't claim again. If he can, they will probably close his account.

Hi all, i know this is her own fault, HSBC settled with my daughter for £1807 (no interest) and also credited her for £125 due to go out. Ok so her account was ok then a payment went out that she had forgotton about and guess what charges. As she has successfully claimed from them once does she have to grin and bear these new chages or can she claim again.

    Thanks cheeky

Thats good news, she paid a chunk off her visa card with the other money as the bank left her overdraft at same amount so the inevitable happened. thanks

When the banks say in the old Churchill-ian manner: “Up with this, I will not put!” and closes your daughter’s account,
    can you blame them?

  • I successfully reclaimed 700pounds of unfair bank charges from Halifax Late last year.. I have now found myself in the same position.. I am wondering if anybody has claimed unfair charges twice, or can this procedure only be done the once???

  • hello
i got my charges back in january over £3000 but as my claim was going through i was getting charged even so £1000 of my reclaimed cash went straight back to bank to pay £500 overdraft off and £500 of new charges ,all in all now i have about £1000 in charges again ,but i signed the form to agree to charges then they paid me back ,does this me that i cannot claim for the £1000 back because they have my signature so i cannot reclaim.shall i have a go at claiming them back or is it a waste of time would love to here if others have been in this situation with natwest or any banks.
    Thank you
