Hi there ! i am 37 year old Stuart , i put in a claim in February to reclaim 6 years worth of bank charges , but as i have been out of work since January i have built up yet another load of charges . Does anybody Know if i can put in a 2nd claim while the first one is still suspended ???0

I claimed back my bank charges over a year ago from the Halifax. But, unfortunately due to maternity pay and being a single mother with no support from the childs father I have incurred further bank charges.
Does anyone know whether I can claim again ?0 -
Yes you can.I all have learnt is from others on many sites.
Seek legal help if unsure.
Dont pay Private Parking tickets - they are mere invoices.

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0 -
hi
its still as unlawfull no matter how many times you claim. bank charges are still on hold so dont rely on it quickly tho

I successfully claimed my charges back about a year ago but since then the bank has still charged me a couple of times so I wanted to know if it is possible to reclaim them again?0

Hi, This probably isnt much help to be honest but I am thinking of trying to claim for the second time so I would say there is no harm in trying at least

hi
yes you can claim again. be aware tho they will not pay you until the end of the OFT test case, and it may not be a full refund.
if you are in financial hardship they may take measures to help you but what these measure are if still very vague.

Sorry to be a bit pedantic, but the way you asked the question is a bit ambiguous.
Obviously you can NOT claim again for the charges they have refunded you.
But you obviously CAN claim for any new unlawful charges they impose.
It's actually quite a strange situation, isn't it? By refunding the charges they are effectively admitting they are unfair and unlawful. But they continue to do exactly the same thing!!!!!! Very odd! Until you remember we are dealing with large bureaucratic organisations here. Someone in the organisation has decided to keep on charging just in case they eventually win the test case in the courts. (If they did win, they would not want to have missed out on all those juicy fees in the meantime). But someone has also decided to settle in your case (wonder if it could have even been the same person??).
So yes, just reclaim the new charges. In fact, why not cite the fact that they have already admitted their charges are unfair by refunding previous ones?0
