Please can somebody help? Does anybody know if you can reclaim bank charges incurred after your original claim has been made? Our original claim is currently on hold. If you can reclaim current charges, how do you go about it?
Thanks, Sue...0 -
I successfully got £1650 back off of Lloyds 18 months ago. Altho I never actually had anything in writing, and never stopped the court case, they simply credited the money into my account.
Today I recieved a letter stating that they would be taking £165 from my account (which will send it overdrawn again) on the 9th of June.
I phoned them and asked for them to cancel the charges, and explained that I had successfully reclaimed charges in the past, that the OFT have now ruled unlawful. They could save us all a lot of time just by cancelling them now.
They have given me an address to write to. Any ideas on my chances and what to write?0 -
already be to court, will I have to start claim again to bank (first direct)0

Claimed from Abbey when all this reclaiming started and got my money back. Have had a few charges since then, but they only go back to when I claimed last (about 2 years).
Should I put in a claim now or should I wait? I'm obviously not losing out on any 6 yr old fees as they are 2 years max.
Has anyone else had a second claim with the same bank?0 -
Having Won My Claim From Natwest Bank For Excessive Bank Charges A Year Ago, They Have Continued To Apply Monthly Charges For Being Over My Limit. This Is A Redundant Account And Admittedly I Should Have Paid The Overdraft Off When I Settled, I Still Can't Believe I Am Being Charged?
Can I Still Claim These Charges From The Last 12 Months If Upon Agreeing To The Settlement A Year Ago I Agreed To No Further Future Settlements??
Rgds

Hi all,
Just a quick question...I recalimed bank charges from natwest over a year ago, around £700. Since then I have been charged heavily on numerous occasions for temporarily going over my limit etc (£28 charges) and not having money cleared when payments went out, also temporarily (£38 plus £28 charges!)...as I have reclaimed before can I reclaim again? As they seemed pretty adamant on the letter last time that I now jnew what the charges were and that was that. It probably amounts to £300 worth? What do you think? any advice or experience would be much appreciated...Thank you. M0 -

You can try but be prepared to have your account closed.
I think it will be a couple of years down the line before the test case is sorted out. I also think that those who did not get refunds before the test case are going to lose out. Remember that most banks have now changed their T&Cs to try to prevent further reclaiming so I hope no one is running up charges thinking they will get them all back.0
