Fantasie make a nice rang in bras for larger sizes, can get these in Debenhams and House of Fraser, not cheap but usually last aswell. I have some very pretty ones.
Weather has turned yakky here, again. Typical when DP was just finishing putting my car back together. He knows the Playstation 3 is there, but he's waiting for a cable to use it which didn't arrive with it, imagine his frustration :rotfl: but at least my kitchen will get done tomorrow. Have arranged to borrow still saw from his step Dad to do the bench.
Oh Mother in Law from hell is back from tomorrow worse luck!
Amie once my new fridge frezer arrives as working on emptying 'bad food' now I'll be joining you with the diet club, no point until the temptations are gone, inc all the B&J ice creamOne day I might be more organised...........

Back from dentist and it looks like it is going to be expensive! I have been referred to a specialist  never a good sign I feel. The crown needs a new post so won't be strong enough to support a bridge so I need to know what else can be done. Some of it sounds horrendous, bone grafting and implants were mentioned but we will see, nothing can be done now until we get back from our hols. He has smoothed it over so it is more comfortable now.
Off to the hospital soon to visit friend who is having worse problems, her sight has gone in one eye, and she definately needs some hugs.
I did get to poundland though and bought some seed potatoes so will plant them tomorrow. Also got some lawn edging, flower seeds, redcurrant bush and 3 solar lights, total £8 :j

My Dad and Stepmum are arriving to stay for the weekend at tea time. As per usual I have got myself in a state about their visit and wanting everything to be perfect. Unfortunately yoday is the first day i've had any energy all week so I've left everything to the last minute.:o
My Dad fancies himself as a bit of a gourmet chef so he can be quite critical about his food. I mad a cassoulet last night but....
a. despite me buying the most expensive sausages I could find they have disintegrated in the pot.
b. I burned the bottom of it.
c. Mr haribo helped himself to about a quarter of it as a midnight snack.
Pink-Winged talked me through the delicate operation of it's rescue this morning.:A
The fish pie I was making was too watery so I've turned it into soup.:o
I made pork burgers for a BBQ tommorrow and it is now forecast to rain for 3 days.
In the midst of all this the school phoned to say Twin 2 is unwell so I have a poorly lo too. She's asleep beside me (bless).
Then...............I go to make crusty bread in the BM to accompany the cassoulet to find my paddle has dissapeared. I'm sure it's in OH's office with his lunch but he says not so it must be in the bin:eek:  and............of course the bin men have just been:eek:   .
(if it is in his lunch I hope it chokes him.);) :rotfl:
Still got 101 things to do before they arive so best go.
Will try to catch up later.

(((hugs))))) Mrs_Mix, RageinEden, Haribo Junkie (if they dont like what you cook let them take you out to eat, or give your Dad the Apron!:rotfl: "), Kyle,tired_Mum,catznine, and anyone else I have missed.
Birthday wishes too (heck forgot the names but anyone with one)
All is fine here, as long as keep the leg horizontal. Imagine the sight, sitting on the settee (one of those where the bottom comes out with a lever to recline) with legs raised, with a laptop on a beanbag tray (its a bit old and gets rather hot so needs a smooth surface to keep from overheating) plugged in as I'm on it a good while, phones at the side, on wireless network dialled into work programming with Access to analyse some data, but using one of those pad laptop mice. Erggh:mad:  It can use them but give me a real mouse any time. What's even worse I seem to have less time to even pop on here than it I was a work!!
I have a doctors sicknote, I am working my redundancy notice, by the end of June DH and I will be early retirees (professional holidaymakers I prefer to call it) and still working my socks off at home, do you think I should get a sanity check? In reality you cannot change what you are can you?
Diet wise, not the best, hurts to stand and prepare food, so taking easier options, and do better when away from the fridge, even though there is not much too bad in there.
I had tried twice to transfer some money in the Halifax, via the phone, and it never happened, Good Friday, and Monday so got on to them again today, and asked for a call back from a Manager, who called and was great, fixed it, and gave me £100 into my account for the inconvenience!:T :T I never lost my rag, just politely and nicely explained, the phone log had obviously recorded my calls, so I am delighted and I have forgiven them too.
Mrs-Mix ring up tomorrow, and talk to them again, be nicely persistant, tell them how bad you feel and you cannot sleep, and ask if they have an appointment, I am sure it is the lack of sleep which mixed you up. Don't sit back, offer to go and wait, or take a cancellation, they will then see you really mean it.
Pen-Pen how are the hens doing?
Enough of my rambling, take care all

If this manages to post it'll be a miracle!! Yesterday and today I've typed missives to post on the daily and just as I've hit submit I get the *site glitch* message:mad:
So now for the abbreviated form of both:D
Yesterday I had a lovely lazy day. Met ivyleaf and we were *ladeez wot lunch* That means we monopolised a table for about 3 hours:rotfl: :rotfl: Great fun and very MSE for me, as she treated me. Thanks ivyleaf:D
Today has been a total contrast. A proper hamster-wheel of a day, peddling like fury but not much happening. Probably because I spent half the day returning things to shops I should never have bought in the first place:o Not a great deal of cash involved, just cheap clothes, but I think I forgot I'm not a teenager any more:rotfl:
Still did manage a huge pot of chilli so there'll be portions for the freezer:D Made the mistake of adjusting the seasoning while it was boiling, with the result it is very spicy and hot, but they've all enjoyed it!!
I've read the thread in snatches throughout the day, so am finding it hard to remember everything.
mrs mix hope you manage to get an appointment soon. Pain drags you down so much.
tired mum it must be so galling that just as you think it's over your mil pulls a new stroke:mad: But your DH will get his inheritance in the end, and then you can sever all contact with her.
lynzpower congrats on the job:j and snoozer congrats on your promotion:j
Haribo, really is a case of if it could go wrong it did, eh? Hope you found the paddle and that DH hasn't choked on it:D (((((hugs)))) you'll laugh about it one day:o
:bdaycake: Hope you've had a happy birthday OldMcDonald!!
I'm struggling to remember who's done what now so I'll leave a stash of (((((hugs))))) to take if you want one.
Well the dinner dishes need washing so it's me for dishpan hands again! Of course I'm not jealous of all your dishwashers:rolleyes:
Enjoy your evenings, CMxx
PS I said abbreviated version and I've rambled like an idiot, sorry:oYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
Evening all,
Overslept drastically this am, since I was really ill last summer OH will not waken me, so I get mad with him too!
Hugs to Mrs Mix, hope that you managed to be seen today at hospital.
Congratulations to Lynz and Snoozer on new job and promotion.
In a fit of madness OH and I took 2DGSs (4 & 6) with us to Lidl this am, not very relaxing, very lucky that I had my list with me as they could have put me off badly. Delighted to get a compost bin on offer for €29.95, our other one is full and this was good value.
Am in last week of April challenge and have €44.39 left...but DS1, DDIL1 and DGD2 are coming for a week on Wednesday and DD2 and DGD1 arrive on Thursday for long week-end I reckon I will be lucky to make it under the €400 (about £270-275) I have allowed myself to keep OH, DD4, DGS2 and me going for the month, as well as Luca the aged cat who catches his own rabbits but just not enough of them!
Garden flying with so much heat and finding it quite a chore to keep watering and picking in hand...must sow some rocket and Italian parsley tomorrow.
Wishing the insomniacs a good night's sleep and a release from pain for those who are suffering.

Evening all
Not read all the thread yet, so hugs to all who need them.
Spent the evening freezing at ds1 footy training ,dh went to ds3 training with him, then back home to lots of CSI!!.
Lots going on at the minute,my sister in law having trouble with one of her sons( my dh brother has been his step dad for about 5 years now) to a point where i think i would have broke if i was her.
My relationship with my mum is if i had never fell out with her, she still talks ten to the dozen i dont get a word in edge ways, but im playing it really cool dont want to fall out again, but i must admit its popping my head a bit the amount of information i am taking in from her in the past few weeks, guess shes just trying to catch up.

Hello everyone
Big apologies to Hilstep - I didn't wish you happy birthday for yesterday - I'm really sorry, but also really happy to hear that you had a special day.
OldMcDonald, happy birthday to you (what's left of it that is!), and happy birthday to MsCatznine.
I've been in all evening sleeping off an horrendous headache - it made me feel really sick too. Even with a couple of paracetamol my head is still pounding. I feel really yuk!
Tomorrow is Friday though, hurrah!! I know I shouldn't wish my life away, but I totally look forward to weekends and not having to go to w*r*.
Amanda, I hope your kitty comes back safe and sound soon.
Rage in Eden, I don't know what happened, but please don't let one or two insensitive people put you off posting. We'll miss you if you go...
Good night all.
