lynzpower, well done on your job :T :T :T

I know you thought about leaving for a while before doing it, so well done, life is too short to stay in a job you don't like

    Morning all!

I'm awake but truly shattered. Had a Guide meeting last night and got home at 11pm only to find that there *was* a parking space, but the person parked next to it had parked so inconsiderately that I couldn't squish in, and had to park on the road overnight and get up and move it before 8am. I woke up about 3 times before half 7 (when I was planning to get up)... at 2, 4:30 and 5.

When I was dropping a friend back after the meeting, we spotted a car in her road covered in tin foil! Not sure why, but anyway! We thought that perhaps our other friend had put something in our food last night, lol.

Yesterday was busy for me, am all stocked up on my vitamins and suppliments bar Co Q10, which I'll order online because it's so expensive in the shops-I can get it for half the price if I order online, and it's free delivery. Also registered with some local estate agents... have seen a couple of houses that we really like, but knowing our luck that by the time we come to make our offers and have this place up, they'll be sold!

Am sending hugs to those who need them today, especially mrs_mix and those who have children doing exams!
Happy birthday to Old McDonald (am sure you're not old!!) and Ms catznine... it's my DMs birthday at the weekend and it's a big one! I wont embarrass her too much as I know that she visits the site, but am unsure if she visits the forums, I'll let her keep her dignity!

Right, I'm going to try and have a nap...if that doesn't work then I'll write a letter or play on my DS lite... OH is off work today (his day off), so I'm not starting my chores until he awakens!!(possibly sometime after midday!!)

Have a lovely day everyone xx

    Morning.
Haven't posted on here for a little while now so thought I'd pass though to say hi and hope to post on here more often......hope everyone is good and everyone who needs sending hugs.

Yesterday went to check my bank as the tax credit was due in and wanted to check what I had or even didnt have in the bank, I nearly past out when I check I has a sum of a scabby £12 (to pay £65 rent and feed 3 kids), somewhere I am paying a debt off kindly took payments of almost £70 twice, made me overdrawn so one of the other DD's which was for arounf £28 got sent back so no doubt I'll be charged off them too admin fees ect, gggrrrr phoned up the company who "stole" my money and they couldn't give 2 hoots the lady was very rude to me, anyway send a message on here and a very kind person told me to ring the bank and ask back for the DD's under the DD gaurentee (sp?) ( as i rang the company to arrange to take the money payments so the next day they took the money out without my say so...3rd may was aranged date to take monies from my bank!) anyway rang my bank up and they put the money back in yayyy I can pay my rent and we will eat this weekend now lol. Will have to phone comany and ask for the bank charges off them I wished there was some way I could be compinsated for what they put me thought lol....anyway enough of that and I do hope I've made sence?

Today I am makinbg toad in the hole as I have veggies that need using up and thats the only thing I can think of to make to use veggies up plus its easy. I need to clean up this pit, hoover the bedrooms and maybe paint a bit more of my cladding in the bathroom, and I have a huge pile of ironing to do......Will let my DD out to play in the garden to annoy my annoying neighbour, as he forgets his kids were my kids age once and kept my DH up when he was on night shift and now his youngest is about to go to high he likes his peace and quiet and takes a dicky fit if my kids are playing in the garden.
Well I think thats me for now?

See you all soon have a lovely day.

I'm in a rush so just a quick update on master tru (if you're not sick to death of hearing about it :o LOL). The antibiotics are definitely doing their job. I expect some of you are eating breakfast so I won't go into detail :lipsrseal

Hi Queenpig Sometimes, when a big company has given me the runaround like that, I've invoiced them for MY time that was used chasing them up. Sometimes - not all - but sometimes - this has worked - the last time to the tune of £120.00 from BT!!:j :j :j

Yep, that will be ideal :j :j That way they get used to a bit of a breeze, the outdoors, and even some rain ;) Then when the risk of frost is passed, they'll be ready to stay out all night :p It's called *hardening off*.

Happy Birthday to Ms Catznine and Joanna's Dad  :T

    :hello: Morning All :D:D:D

 Many happy returns of the day to oldmacdonald & ms catznine

Good luck at the dentist catz! Pam, hope you are feeling much, much better soon ((hugs))

Good luck to the children doing their SATS (my Yr 7 isn't doing any, or at least, he's not mentioned it and neither has the school  )

Seems we’re having an accident prone month in Queenieland – now that my leg is almost healed, got called the school yesterday to take d11yo to hospital. He was playing footie at lunchtime and managed to break his finger. I’ve warned d12yo to expect a thump from me at some point because if all things happen in 3’s I don’t want to chance him having an accident when he’s away next week ;) (Ok, I’m jesting!! I’m not really going to thump him … maybe just trip him up? ).

On the home front, just the usual hamster wheeling, with a bit of me time on the net for some R&R ;) I’m hoping to make up a batch of everyday biscuits and muffins for the freezer. I’ve got some cheese I bought on the reduced counter and I thought I’m whip up some calzones too; so easy to just grab and run with those for the lunchboxes.

Had to laugh yesterday, d12yo had to be picked up by his dad seeing as I was at the hospital with his bro. Anyway, when we all met up, d12yo asked his dad for advice on his math homework … not a wise move, his dad couldn’t fathom it, despite his former mensa membership (which he’s never let me forget). I asked to take a look - now, for years his dad has made remarks to the effect that maths isn’t my strong point; c-rap I believe was the keyword – well, d12yo was over the moon when I was able to point out the relationship between the figures given which helped him find the missing figures *insert smug grin from Queen smug of the smug people* I love it when that happens ;)

Speaking of figures … one of the girls I’m doing my course with has suggested we join a fitness group. Now need to visit Matalan and have a look at what’s available. What do people wear? I feel a bit like those people who have cleaners come in and feel the need to clean before they arrive … in other words, maybe I should practice at home first? What have I let myself in for!!!???

Have a good day everyone
