Happy birthday oldmcdonald :bdaycake:
:grouphug: lots of hugs to mrs_mix, hope you feel better soon
Another lovely day here, so might follow oldmcdonalds example and go down to the allotment. I love it down there, and it is pathetic how excited I am about my little beans and caulis :rotfl:
Off to Lidl today as they have compost bins on special, then might put the BM on and make some soup.
Hope everyone has a good day xYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -

Happy Birthday oldmcdonald!! Have a great day.
Hugs to mrs mix and anyone else who needs one ((()))
Lovely and sunny this morning again, but i dont have any washing to do, which im quite sad about as i love putting washing out on sunny days...i cant belive im moaning about having no washing!!!
I have lots of ironing to do though, and want to sort out my paperwork too, need to nip to lidl and get a few bits to complete this weeks meal plan.
Ds1 is snowed under with extra homework due to his SATS coming up, hes handling it well and i havent had to moan at him to do it, but last night alone he had to do a 1000 word report about the solar system, 4 maths worksheets and a science worksheet. Hes finished it but it took him ages bless him.
Catch up with you all later, off to do lunch boxes

Morning
You all sound so busy! Good luck to Mrs_Mix and Amie with your challenges and hopes for today.
My plans for the day are to go to work and get everything up to date (that would be lovely!!) and return home for a lovely evening having a glass of wine with my hubby.
Unlike most posters on here I don't even think about food as my hubby does all the meals and everyone has already eaten by the time I get in from work....so he does all of the planning, cooking and dishing up (and the washing, wiping and putting away!!!)
Anyway, have a lovely day whatever you are doing

Good morning everyone!
Pam, best of luck at the hospital :A
AMIE - it may be warmer on the south coast, but I wouldn't put my tomatoes out in Yorkshire until the weather is warmer. If there's a risk of frost, make sure you get them inside again
LMS - what were the testsMy DS is in Y7 and I'm not aware of any coming up
Good luck today.
Happy Birthday OldMacdonald
Amanda, hope you find your cat soon.
Racy - loving hearing about your chicks. Hoping to get some *hatching eggs* soon.
Going to finish painting the walls in the spare room, then out in the garden today.
Small Penguins are up needing feeding.
Catch you all later, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

HI there all
Hugs to all that need them and big happy birthdy to "young" mcdonald
Amie, gorwing rocket is a doddle. Seriously, its easier than going to the shop and buying some LOL. simply put some compost in a pot, sprinkly over seeds, sprinkle over some compost- water- pick -scoff.the key is making sure that it doesnt flower- once its flowered its game over. I need to read up on how to avoid this this year, as I have some rocket to plant up later today.
Well hello everyone. My jobsearching hell is over. I phoned in and left my job as an estate agent last wednesday, and was offered a perm job yesterday- a week! this is certainly a record for me. I did want a specific job i appled for a lot, but alas, I havnet heard anything. The job I got offerd yesterday doesnt start till the 1st May, so the other company has a chance to pinch me before I start there- if they want to, Im going to call them today adn see if Ive got an interview for that! Otherwise Ill go with the job I got offered yesterday.
This means I ( for the first time in ages) have actual time to mooch about without feeling like I shuld be doing something else ( ie looking for work or temping etc) and I have almost 2 weeks in which to chill
I want to get into baking again, as Ive put it on ther back burner due to lack of time recently, im going to get my garden sorted once and for all, and do some competitions and generally mill around. Might find some time to batch up the freezer for those cant be bothered days.
Otherwise today, dinner is albondingas ( mexican meatballs) with rice & black beans & piadines, followed by OHS magical pancakes with strawberries from the market, ice cream and white chocolate sauce. Lunch for me will be probably a HM loaf for bacon sandwiches, and lots of snacking on skipswhich I bought and simply cant resist :rotfl:
Looks like a lovely day today, so Im going to get some more potting done and take dog for a really nice long walk  Times so precious isnt it, Its one thing money cant buy but we all need more of!
Hope everyone has a good day, and hugs to everyone that needs them xxxx:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
