Hi all

Feel really tired today, even though lo slept most of night, he got up just before 5 and has been grumpy ever since, he was wanting the same book read over and over again this morn, went into rage when i wouldnt:rotfl: thats as well as getting kids ready for school, dealing with ds1 as his filling is hurting again and he had a headache, tummyache etc, kids!

Got my appointment the other day to get a bit of my gum removed which is causing me a lot of pain, have to go into the maxillfacial unit in aberdeen, which will be fun as it is 60 miles away and dh will be on nights then!

Plans today:

Tidy up
Make some muffins
Clean
See what to do for tea, thinking lasagne

AussieLass - I've gone nowhere - I've been posting on the Daily about 6 days out of 7 as usual Thanks for asking anyway!

Beautiful day here again. Won't get to see much of it as I am at work all day and going to a concert (indoors) this evening. Managed to get loads achieved at work yesterday, signed off various things that had been the bane of my life for months! Hope today is the same!

Sorry to anybody I have missed!

Not much OS going on here but will have a swish around the flat between getting home tonight (concert will be a late finish but it's easy to get home from) and going to bed. I've taken a portion of coconut chicken out of the freezer for my supper. The freezer is finally starting to look like it's getting ready to be refilled (after I overdid it with the batch cooking a couple of weeks ago!) so will do a meal plan for next couple of weeks and go market-shopping on Saturday. All you Flyladies would be horrified by the state of my kitchen sink, so must do that too. And the fridge needs cleaning - I left the remains of a leg of lamb in there uncovered, and now the whole fridge smells of it. Off to find an OS remedy - I'm sure it's going to involve bicarb

Anyway, need to get going if I'm actually going to achieve anything at work today!

You're right, it does. Keep a tub of bicarb in your fridge (or charcoal!) to soak up any pongs. But, you can use a solution of it to wipe out your fridge.

Love lamb, loath the lingering odour though.

just having a coffee break, am feeling a lot better now thank goodness and have stopped feeling sick.
Had a letter from DS school this morning, he is in detention tonight after school for failing to do any english homework since September 2006:eek: :mad:
he's in for trouble tonight! I know its partly my fault for not supervising him better but he always says he's done it at school or hasn't got any:rolleyes: and I work quite a few evenings so am not always there to make sure he does it.Things will have to change as he's in year 10 now and will be doing his GCSE's before I know it! I dread going through this again, it was the same with DS1 - a nightmare trying to get him to revise !

I too had a bad dream last night but as it involved XDH I don't want to go into details. Left me feeling a bit weird though so I hope the feeling lifts as the day goes on.

DD is back at school today and DS has an orthodontist appointment so I will be out and about today.

Have one load of washing on the line and another on the airer. Dishes are washed and living room is tidy.

Off to get DS out of the shower now as he would gladly stand in it for hours at a time unless told otherwise. :rolleyes:

Anyone heard from twink? I don't think she posted yesterday. Hope everything is ok.

Morning all, happy birthday OMcD............and others who have a birthday today.........

Woke a couple of times in the night, but went off again......OH got up just after 8am and has gone off to the allotment, so I have only just got out of the pit!!!!! Still very tired, but I know its from all the stress of the last few weeks, so just taking it easy........

Nice bright morning sun out but a breeze blowing in the bedroom window, visit to Mr T this afternoon.............

Tomorrow the chap is coming from the water board to see about us getting a meter installed, as our hot water comes from a central source we will only pay for a relatively small amount of cold water that will come in through the meter.......hopefully next week will see us straight at last.....I need another trip up the ladder into the loft with a couple of plastic crates.....once the carpenter has been life will get some semblance of order again.........I hate being in a mess!!!!

Right I am off for a coffee and read for a while...........next door neighbour came round yesterday to see if we wanted to go down and play Bingo,WE HATE BINGO..how do I tell her that neither of us are likely to go?????? apart from anything else its £3.50 each, I can think of better things to spend £7 on!!!! no offence to those of you who like to play, its just not my cup of tea.

Morning all Hope everyone is ok

DD still not well, shes still got this stomach bug and is on the couch feeling sorry for herself cos she can't go to school.

I'm having a huge clear out and organizing day, got a great book from the library called 'Cut the Clutter' from the people of organised home.com and its really spurred me on to sort things out and get some kind of routine into our lives.

Went to see the new house yesterday and took pics and measurements, its pratically twice as big as what we have now and as i'm going to be running it i need a system! Especially when me and DP merge all our cr*p lol.

Sis in law went in to be induced yesterday but nothing was happening so they're going to break her waters this morning so hopefully new niece arriving today! :j Quite jealous lol as i'm VERY broody but we're waiting until the house is sorted out cos it needs loads doing on it.

B - tea for me, nothing for DD
D - a toastie probably, DD is just to have fluids today doc said
T - Chilli and potato wedges
