  • I think that's a problem area for most women, I know I'm doing all the right exercises but I've still got stubborn little wings, apparently it's all in my head! But I feel your pain, lol! I guess my only advice would be to continue with the weights and EVENTUALLY they should go!!

I've NEVER had a washboard stomach, even at 13 I remember having that bulge, I've reduced it greatly through exercise and eating well, but I reckon I'm going to need surgery to get the flatness/abs I'm after!

Hi everyone, here's a good video to tighten up those bingo wings. It's by Rosemary Conley and she's lovely in the clip. I've tried these and they do work!

There are lots of excercise videos on YouTube, just search for whatever you like, such as "ab excercises". It's free, you can do it in the comfort of your home and you won't need a gym membership or expensive equipment :)
  • 2lbs gone since the 1st - whoop whoop. Long way to go but its a start.
Hope you have a good weekend.

great these are all in my gym program and do give results if done often - also try to use weights if possible to help build muscle.

Top MSE tip for using weights: Food cans or water bottles. The water bottles can be filled with just water and if you want them heavier, put sand (or salt) in them :D
  • Hello ~ How are we all doing? I've bought yet more fruit and veggies - and now I'm adding a side salad to my evening meal (dressing is cider vinegar which I love). Love to hear how everyone else is getting on.

I usually buy a kilo lamb and mutton, then chicken, turkey and fish all to feed three of us for one week. Then I buy veg and fruite for the week and just make alot of veg/protein meals. Personally I avoid potatoes, for example this eve I made chicken stew with carrots, steamed cauliflower and broccoli and I made my two boys mash potatoes!

They don't enjoy seafood as much as I do so on those days I make them either spag Bol or fajitas and I always steam my veg in bulk, put in fridge for next day. So the broccoli and cauliflower from tonight I'm also having that for lunch tomorrow with chicken!

I'm going to make some soup tomorrow night which I will make in bulk and serve some to my boys with garlic bread on sat or fri night!

Hi Everyone, hope you are all doing well :)
Well, i still havent got any scales, but my clothes are starting to feel a little looser now, which is nice.
A lady who lives down the road from me, aid it looks like i had lost weight a few days ago, and i think she is right!

I am still allowing myself chocolate everyday, even if just a few squares of Green & Blacks, and have started to drink less alcohol. This is what i think has made the difference.
