  • I would tell her but not in a serious way, tell her assuming that it's all perfectly innocent when you next see her. Don't make a special trip to see her. "I saw a guy, the image of John at the blah blah hotel last week when I was at a meeting, I could have sworn it was him". Now that way, you're opening a dialogue. If she questions you, you tell what you saw, the ball is in her court. Then leave it.

    Games, games, games. What is it with 'wimin'?

    You've either got to pretend you didn't see anything or go full bore and be prepared for the repercussions. Be that of an emotional crutch or getting screamed at and being ex-communicated.

    Hardly games, after could she be 100 percent sure it was him, could she be 100 percent sure it wasn't innocent, unless that's the case then she puts it out there. She has to assume the husband is innocent until proved guilty. A mere mention that she thought it was him will suffice. Then leave it, it's the wife's job to do what she will with the information.
  • If it was that good a friend why not just;

    A) go see if it WAS him
    B) if so call her friend asap

    She could've opened a whole can of worms. Told her friend, and then friend says, "Oh I know. We've very sexually open-minded and swap partners. It's my turn this week!" Maybe she's still recovering from the shock!
