Ive read on here somewhere that you can amend your court papers if they havent been served on the bank yet. It costs £35 though and im not sure if you can get exeption from the fee.
Good Luck0 -

Hi,
I've sent the letter off saying that they have 7 days or I shall be taking it to court (Lloyds)
I can't do the online court application - I don't think - because I have no way of paying the fees involved (don't have a credit card)... plus I'm on Income Support which means I'm probably exempt from fees anyway according to form EX160.
Does anyone know if its possible to use online claim, even though don't have credit card because I'm sure if I did, then I'd be able to reclaim this back retrospectively?
If I can't, then when I go to court what forms should I be asking for, and do I need to take anything in other than the charges breakdown - and possibly evidence of my Income Support claim.

As far as i know you would need a credit/debit card to use MCOL.
If you go direct to cout you will need:
3 copies of your list of charges
3 copies of N1 form ( you can fill this in online and print it out)
EX160 form ( also can be filled in online and printed out)
And proof of benefits ( i took my most recent letter from benefit office)
from what i have read on here and CAG website you can fill in a more detailed particulars of claim if you use the N1 form as opposed to the MCOL as MCOL is restricted to so many letters you can use.
Good luck with your claim and let us know how you get on.

Hello Moneypenny,
Im not sure that you can claim interest if you use the financial ombudsman.
If you want to calculate interest use the interest calculator on the recalaim bank charges main page, its very esy to use, just enter the amount and date of each charge then add it to the list. As your charges are for 2 accounts I would list the charges seperately so as not to add confusion.
If you make a mistake, dont worry, the bank will be very quick to point it out if you are claiming too much! Although this gets more tricky if the amounts claimed are not right when it gets to the court stage.
Good luck with your claim, let us know how you get on.
