Yes. I am currently in pretty much the same position with MINT, although they say they will contact me again (whatever that means) in 10 working days. Send the second letter, giving 14 days, as a matter of urgency. I would've sent it in the last post collection on 24 April (10 April + 14 days). I am afraid to say that, by delaying you until now, the letter has succeeded in its probable purpose. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0

I have recently received my reply from Lloyds TSB who I'm asking for roughly £1700. They say they have received my complaint and will get back in touch with me in 4-8 weeks. Do I just go to step 5 on the website and threaten to take them to court or wait for their next response which could be as long as 7 weeks away. Sincerely, Alan Wright:beer:
My response from Lloyds TSB was non commital. Should I send the letter taking them to court or wait to see if they offer me something when they do reply again???0 -
Hi, Just stick to your timescales not theirs and you'll be fine.0

This situation wasn't accounted for on the website. They replied within 2 weeks as I asked. So what do I do? Say I'm taking them to court or wait to see if they offer me something???0

If you have sent the letter in step 4, just wait for the 14 days to pass, then file your claim with the court.
You told the bank that they have 14 days not 50!!!!
YOU are in charge of the situation NOT THEM!!!0 -
Hi, just new to the site. I received my last 6 years bank statements from Natwest, worked out what they owed me which is £1200 sent the 2nd letter after a month I never heard anything so I sent another letter that was 3 weeks ago and I still haven't heard from them, could someone advise what to do next.0

Hi, just stick to the timescales you set in your letters.
If you told them they had 14 days, and 14 days has passed - proceed with the court claim.
I heard nothing at all from Natwest until I filed my claim with the courts.0 -
Thanks I'll get straight onto it!0

This letter is purely designed to confuse and delay you. Treat it as an acknowledgement. If no reply or a "no" reply arrives in the post on day 14, send the next letter immediately. It is your claim, not theirs. You set the timescales and they do as you say or else. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0
