This system seems flawed in that anyone with a "friendly posty" that leaves recorded items in certain places without a signature (very common) could do this so easily.
Also, why is his feedback private. Something to hide?
The earliest i would be refunding is the 17th. Mail turning up in 2 weeks is not uncommon.0 -

What does that mean?
Being new may excuse ignorance but doesn't excuse continued denial. You've been given the answers here, they are all the same.0 -

For goodness sake CoP means "close of play". As in after work tomorrow. Stop jumping on my back, go get a hobby, maybe learning abbreviations would be a good one. I've already said tomorrow now....Debtfree!0 -

I beg your pardon? You need some manners.
Cop means certificate or posting on these boards.
I was asking a question of someone with questionable morals.0 -

CoP also stands for Certificate of Posting, an abbreviation that is used a lot on this section of the forum so its understandable that theonlywayisup was confused by your use of it.
You are refunding the full amount including original P+P?0 -
To be fair to OP, in the context of things it was clear it didn't mean certificate of posting. But I agree with the rest of the sentiments involved - you don't get to keep anything when the item hasn't got to the buyer. However, then you can claim everything back from RM, so you are not going to be out of pocket for their mistakes.
I don't see what your problem is with this, everything has been laid out above."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

It obviously meant 'close of.. something' (I thought practice) and not certificate of posting.
Anyway, there's not much more to add to this thread now, as it seems to have descended into bickering and name-calling.0 -
:eek:Am I the only one with a little bit of sympathy for the op?
Oh....Ok, I'll get my coat...."fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts." (Bertrand Russell)0 -
