    Hi Peeps

Not posted for ages but I have popped in on the odd occasion to have a little read.
    I hope eveyone is well??
I have a new edition to our household..............a tiny kitten that someone wanted to get rid of so I have her now!! Do all cats bite? or is it a teething kitten thing??

Yes most kittens chew when they are young :) I foster a fair few through the year and my fingers are usually chewed to shreds if I am not careful :)
How old is it? The problem with kittens on their own is the same as with puppies seperated too young from their litter mates. They tend to not have any concept of pain from biting. If they are with their litter mates then they will merrily chew eachother and they realise that it hurts if you bite too hard etc - but if they have been seperated very early they don't seem to grasp this as easily and getting them out of the biting habit can be a pain. One option (depending on age!) could be to growl or hiss at the kitten when they bite you, then make a fuss as soon as it stops the biting :)

Not feeling too good at the moment. Had words with DH yesterday, and OK I admit it, I wasted the rest of the day sulking:o But he's not blameless either. He 'phoned from work a little while ago to tell me he loves me and I wasn't very receptive, and now I feel guilty. Now do I 'phone and try to make amends, or just make him a nice dinner tonight? Decisions, decisions:rotfl: I know the answer, really, don't I ? Both:D Oh well, I expect humble pie tastes quite nice really:o

You know the phone call will make his day - get on with it girly ;)

And I would make him a nice dinner too :) OH and I had wirds yesterday when I came down ready to skip out to the sinday market for some veg and he turned round and said "you're not going to wear THAT out are you??!"
He couldn't seem to understand that I was NOT amused by that at all and had to do a lot of sucking up before I was even willing to talk to him again...

Morning all :) hope everyone is well

Hugs to caroline, PP, moggins (good luck with the job), kitten-cat and anyone else who needs one or would like one

    Rzl well done

Good luck to those starting diets, might just join you :)

Well the weathers gone from 25 degrees yesterday to bloomin' miserabble, not happy last day can take kids out before back to school, did plan the beach but doesn't look promising now unless it changes it's mind. Plus I decided to do big towel wash, which will end up being dried indoors, I am trying to not use tumble drier unless absolutely necessary!

OS wise, muffins baked yesterday, looking for inspiration with lentils, found I have 2kg of them, just unsure what to do with them apart from add to soups etc. Kitchen needs cleaning, fridge definately needs sorting through, few other bits to get done. Especially need to finish sorting kids stuff for going back to school tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a good day.
One day I might be more organised...........
