Hi everyone.
I didn't managed to post over the weekend as it was quite a busy one, visiting family etc.
My two returned to school today, so it was a bit of a shock getting up and out on time!
I finally went to the gym for a 'gentle' workout and then did all of the week's grocery shopping at H&B, Aldi and Asda, so the cupboards are bursting with stuff! I've got to go to a meeting at church in about 20mins so I must go and run a bath for the kids first.
I'm not in w*** until Thursday so I might have time to sit down before then!0 -
everyone.
Well it has turned out to be quite a day. The school rang and the kids start there tomorrow, they also do a pre school for the LO who starts on Wednesday. The headmistress also recommended a child minder (the only one in the area) and guess what? - she has room for LO until 3 o clock when I can pick them up after work. She is full for all other hours and so the current/old playschool have agreed to mind the children during the school holidays until 3 oclock. I can't believe how conveniently it has all fallen in to place for us all. (A big thank you to whichever angel it is that keeps on smoothing the way for us.xxxxx)
We went to see the childminder and her place this afternoon and she looks very capable and the kids looked very happy. We also met one of the mums and she is very pleased with her child's care. The current nursery want a months notice or payment in lieu - but are agreeable to a variation in hours in the meantime to factor in the preschool. So in one month we will all be local to our home. :T :T :T :T
OS wise the house is clean, a late tea just finishing off in the oven. The two eldest are asleep and we have been up to the LO twice so far to try and get him settled.
- probably twice more on the cards too.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
As to the diet................ I have updated my sig. Original weight at New Year, current weight   and my first goal. So looking forward to the PM's and plans of action on how we proceed.:T :T :T
I found this and it made me laugh, I hope it does for you too.
I hope you all have a good night.

Hi everyone,
Hope you all are OK, I tried reading first thing at work, but it was already on page 2 at 7.45 am so never caught up especially with flying in late (or should I say earlier Monday).
Amie - count me in for the diet also, though you will only see lbs lost/gained and not the starting point. How I will manager it I don't know at the moment been cutting down and down and not showing a difference, and this damn phlebitis is certainly cutting down my mobility. Went back to the drs tonight and he gave me a note for two weeks with my leg inthe air! The mind boggles.

Thank you so much to everybody for your nice messages about my Paypal nightmare - you're all lovely!!!!:-)))
It's mostly sorted out now - at least they've put the transactions on hold and put my account on limited access - so nobody can do anything with it (including me!). Don't know how it happened, but it's really made me think - I do all my banking, lots of shopping etc etc online these days and don't think twice about it. Scary stuff!
Anyway, my first OS day didn't go too badly considering. I got 80% of what was on my list done which isn't too bad after such a bad start.
Big load of washing done, dried and put away (bits that need ironing will be ironed tomorrow!); lots of little cleaning jobs that have been hanging round for ages done; big Tesco shop done and menus planned for week, and made a yummy tomato, bacon and chilli pasta sauce for dinner (made double and froze a portion, so that's a meal for the freezer).
Took DS to the cinema this afternoon to see Meet the Robinsons - he really enjoyed it, but I have to say it wasn't one of my favourites, and the sound was really loud - I came out with a crashing headache (though this might have been partly caused by the Paypal stress, to be fair).
Anway, can't believe it's 9 pm already. Nothing on the telly, so think I'll have an early night in my lovely freshly made up bed with my book!0 -
Smokeybabe I'm so glad to hear that something is at last going right for you.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Well I didn't get everything done... Dog was a pest so training got nowhere *sigh* - the bacon joint is cooking in the slow cooker and I had BBQ'd steak (YUM!) and enough left for lunch tomorrow too! Yay!
The lasagna and cottage pie never happened but have defrosted the mince so I HAVE to cook it tomorrow... But I DID manage to give the kitchen a good clean too
Tomorrow it's the livingrooms turn whilst I cook the lasagna and cottage pie :rotfl:

Evening all. Just had another store cupboard meal, wish I had a glass of wine to with it. Stayed at work later tonight, then came home; cooked tea and ended up watching telly. Aren't I naughty - should have studied really?
Hope you're all lovely and settled this evening. MPxxPrevious debt: £14K :embarasse Debt free: Sept '03

queenie.. when i first read your post, i thought that that was really what you were having for your meals !!!! lol !!! i love watching them sort of programmes, did you see the Edwardian house and the one about the house in the war ect.. i think they are great ...
:rotfl: I do enjoy food, but not to the extent of being able to consume *that* amount!!
Yes, I did watch Edwardian House and 1940's House, great programmes. Love them!!
As for the Edwardian "Super Size" Me, very interesting programme! Gluttony at it's most extreme! Must have been a real treat being poor so you didn't have to endure raw beef tea
Did you catch last nights episode on brand names? Found that interesting, but (shamefully) feel asleep half way through. I know it's being repeated, but I've never fathomed how to use the timer on the video so unless I happen to have one of my early morning insomniac days on the day of the repeats, I've lost out on ever seeing the 2nd half ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
