All the resorts along the Linc East Coast were chocker during the weekends but nice and peaceful during the week. Being on the dry side of the UK the weather was warm and balmy, apparently we had better weather than the Med and there is much talk in the local press and news of a boom in tourism...bring on global warming and knock the VAT of sun tops, I say:D

Friends describe me as having a healthy glow, those with a more serated tongue may allude to the tv legends Judith Chalmer or David Dickenson:eek: and try to start vicious rumours than my skin tone is 'assisted' during the cooler months. It's not of course, I do a lot of beach walking in all weathers so it's rust... natch:D

Yep - still impressed. How much do you sell your cards for and where? I've never really thought of selling them - just making them for family but it would be grat to make some money!

I dont sell as many as I used to, it helped where I worked before as there was lots of staff, and was forever being un-indated with special requests, but in my new job, its a very small department, so wouldnt get many takers, now - Im like you - just sell to friends & family. Have been known to sell a batch of them on ebay. But even thats a tough competition.
How much - it depends really the effort what went into them, size etc
Just basic ones with no greeting on the front & blank insert (like notelett cards) start from 60p for small size or square. They're complete with envelope & celo bag! Prices vary from 60p up to £2 for C5 size. I also make cards which look like books. A bit more effort, so cost that little bit more! PM me if you need any help!

Well - its nearly been 2hrs since the Police said they were coming out. Ive rung, and left a message, they rung back, the PC is busy on a case (which I understand) but I hate sitting around waiting!

Dinner nearly done so she'd better hurry up!

DW is on, and so is the WM again. Got the tumble dryer going, didnt want to use it, but the clouds look really dark & heavy!

Animals fed, just pack ups to do later for tomorrow
    Bye for now
    Love Emma

amiee PM me when you get chance to sort out our diet routine. Ive got lots of weight watchers recipes! Incl points, calories etc... Thanks to dlb who helped me out with those!

tine what a wonderful link. Have spent 1 1/2hours reading and sheading the odd tear or 10,0000!!!!!!!!!!!! Poor Trevor. Thank you. We will be seeing how we can help. Today is the anniversary of my mums death. It is 15 years and has passed so quickly. I have been up to the grave, it was looking beautiful. I wasn't intending to post but that site is magnificent. Also want to say how lovely my DH is. He was back at school today and when he came home he came bearing many gifts-a large bunch of flowers;some pringles;a bar of chocolate;a bag of fun sized malteasers and a book! I am so lucky. I am sorry that I havent read al the posts-meant to but got side tracked by doggies(and of course cats!) Hugs to you all. I gain so much from you all. You don't reailise just how much you are helping me but you are and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.Have a good evening.

    Good Evening All

What a mess! I came home an hour ago to find all the kitchen in the garden except the sink unit which has no water anyway. The microwave is sitting on a stool. I knew some had to come out the relocate the boiler but not all The new kitchen comes in three weeks so I'll have something temporary after tomorrow. Quite exciting though.

Good job I have a few pizzas in the freezer.

Hugs to all who need them
Doing voluntary work overseas for as long as it takes .......
My DD might make the odd post for me

    Just a quickie. ;)

    Hugs to (((Mrs Mix)))

Kitten is home and behaving as though nothing has happened.

Our other cat growled at us for 3 days after her op. This one ate a hearty meal, escaped out the back door and jumped onto next door's shed. There she found some more food (God alone knows what it was) and then jumped back down.

So much for keeping her indoors and giving her light meals for 24 hrs.

Girls enjoyed first day back although there was a mishap with their uniforms.:o DTwin1 is 3 inches taller than DTwin2 so they wear different sized pinafores. Both their pinafores are a little short on them but I'm trying to make them last.;) However they got them mixed up after gym today and when they stepped of the bus one was like little orphan Annie and the other like Dita Von Teese.

Everyone was commenting on how much she'd grown over easter because her skirt barely covered her backside.:rotfl:

Seafood platter for tea then some more ironing. Managed to get the floors and windows done today on top of the usual so feeling quite smug.:D again.:D :o

    have a lovely evening everyone.

    Haribo x

He's a darling isn't he? :A There are just so many out there that need help and homes, and foster homes too :) I'm actually (alledgedy) the secretary to the trustees so tend to hear the un-edited versions of what these poor animals have sometimes been through and it makes me cry regularly...

We're getting close to 1000 dogs rehomed through the website which is just plain amazing!!! If you are in any doubt about how you can help out then we always need knitters :) We need knitted doggy coats for the elderly dogs even in summer although lighter ones for the warm months are handy :) we then stitch on "I need a home" on them so they can wear them in public :D

    Spread the word :)

Nice to see you back Math - talking of "assisted colouring" there was a woman in front of me in a shop yesterday - orange face, orange hands, orange legs - done up to the nines - then she leant forward and had a lilly white neck and a lovely streaky line under her jaw - both DD's burst out laughing and I had to look the other way.:D

Have spent the entire day ironing and sorting summer and winter clothes - everything is now as it should be and the ironing basket is........drum roll please.......empty!!!!! (but not for long I'm sure)

DD's were not impressed with going back to school and couldn't wait to get home and into shorts and in the garden to play - they're now eating HM pizza and salad infront of the telly and shouting at each other...bless!

Going to grab a glass of wine before DH gets home and next round of feeding starts then will sit quietly on the patio and watch my new friend flit around in the dusk........We have a bat!!!! I love bats so really happy to sit and watch him swooping over the pond for the bugs.

    Have a great evening all.

    [[[essex-girl hows the puppy?

He's fine - completely back to normal, the lump is still there but shoudl disappear over the next 2 months.

Am happy today as have come home from the hospital minus my plaster! Have a splint instead which can be removed as I want. Cant bath tonight as need to let the holes where the pins were close up but if they are closed tomorrow - shower here I come, my skin at the moment resembles a lizard and I cant wait.

Need to do loads of officework tomorrow but will also drive for the first time in 5 weeks as need to go to the libray.

Havnt caught up with the rest of the thread yet so hope everyone is ok, if not lots of ((((hugs))) if you need one.
