The first day went okay, I'm still a bit concerned by things other workers have said about the boss. She seems okay to me though.
As for the office, it is the most disorganised, badly run place on the face of the planet and it has given me a headache!! Roll on learning the ropes of the job so I can start reorganising it all!!Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

I'm really pleased that you had a good day . It can be quite daunting going into a brand new job, not knowing a thing - even having to be shown where the loo is!
I did loads of supply work in a school where alot of staff were moaning about the head, even other supply teachers. However, he was always absolutely fine with me. I always tried to keep out of office politics..... but sometimes it's quite tricky when you want a b*tch and a moan!
Amie - love the idea of the jar next to the loo. I might start charging DH every time he leaves it up. Poor Mrs Mix - (((hugs))) to you - you sound as if you need it. Pretty inconsiderate of the school, isn't it? So sorry you're not having a very good day and hope you sort out the nasty accusations. Horrible position to be in. Good Luck - I'll be thinking of you as, I'm sure, will everyone else.
elona - hope your DD is feeling better
Snoozer - hope you get that promotion
Moggins - so glad you survived that all-important first day. I shouldn't take much notice of what the others say about the boss. It's not very nice of them to talk about her in a negative way, anyway - it's much better to form your own opinion in good time, isn't it? My last job was very disorganised but, after a while, because I kept trying to organise it myself, I was left to do it anyway. I didn't mind even though it meant extra work - it was much better to work when it was organised than to try and muddle on with the way it was!:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
Well, I told myself I wasn't going to come on here again until this evening but I've been busy with the paperwork, placed some books on Green Metropolis to sell (hopefully) and managed to get OH back online with his current account. Didn't remember his memorable information, did he?! Anyway, all sorted now.
I think OH is going to be back later than expected - he's fitting a kitchen but it has taken longer than expected to rip the old one out. Glad it's a customer and not me. I've lived through that more than once and hate it!
Anyway, sun is still shining but I think that makes me lucky because a lot of you have said the weather is not too good. It's lovely here at the moment but I don't expect it to last!
Anyway, love and (((hugs))) to you all - especially you, Mrs Mix - have a lovely early evening - I just know I'll look in again later!KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

hello ageandjo hope the kitten settles in. Ive never known my cats when they was babies to teeth, but I guess it can happen. Make sure they have plenty of small toys, not only to play with but to gnaw on also.
Pegged my washing out before going to work, luckily (despite it coming over all dull cloudy) it didnt rain until I came home & fetched it straight in. Ive done another 2 loads since. Im off now to do the ironing for tomorrow
Will read rest of thread in a while, only on page 4.
Bye for now
