I'm once a week, what about you? How often do you...

The linen gets done weekly, the duvet covers changed over every two weeks. The duvet is taken off the bedd every day, and the bedroom windows are left open for a couple of hours, usually in the morning - gets rid of condendsation and musty smells. Nothing beats the feeling of freshly laundered sheets on a Sunday night, or when you get back from holiday and sleep in your own bed again with nice crisp linen.0

Do you know, I've had my washing machine for about five years now and I had no idea what 'wash plus' meant. You learn something new every day
Sorry to mislead.
'Aqua Plus' gives extra water, additional rinse cycle and extended washing time.
'Wash Plus' (which is the one I use) gives extension of washing cycle for a more intense washing of highly soiled stuff or for washing at maximum load.
Is yours a Bosch?0 -
I've never seen my house mate wash his bedding and i've lived here for 18 months...Current Debt: 0%.Current House Deposit: 7%.0

I change the bedlinen a) when I remember and b) when I can get someone to help me with the kingsize stuff. Once a month? It's not something I fret about. I leave the duvet pulled back all day to air the bed. We're talking bedlinen, not knickers, after all."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

Yes it isBut up until now 'wash plus' and 'aqua plus' have just been buttons that I've hit by accident lol
Really ought to read the manual ...

Probably about once every 3-4 weeks, whenever they start looking like they need it. I think I will do them today actually as the cat has been sleeping on my pillow, and it's a little dirty.0

I never eat or drink in bed and there is just me (and tiny cat) in a king sized bed. I migrate across it, so sheets get washed every week, 10 days at most, more often in summer or if I wake up sweaty or if I feel like getting into a lovely clean bed that night. Bed turned back and aired daily.
I use a top sheet so duvet cover gets changed every other time. Duvets are washed monthly(ish). (I use one as a mattress protector and it makes my bed lovely and snuggly) Pillows go in the wash monthly(ish) too.
Cats have their own single duvet over the bottom of the bed and that gets washed weekly.0 -
Out of interest do you think it is cleaner, better, healthier (whichever phrase you fancy) to
A) wash the bedding on a 60 degree wash, and hot iron to kill bugs every fortnight or longer.....
Orwash the bedding on a 30 degree wash and not iron every week
Interested to hear your thoughts on this one xx0 -
I wash pretty much all stuff at 30 degrees (occasionally a very hot whites wash) and only iron anything if I really must ie. work clothes. I certainly don't iron bedding
No-one's died from my laundry habits yet, although a white shirt accidentally turned pink by a stray T-shirt this week did earn a sigh from DH.
