Every other day here. I'd do it everyday if I had the time too.
I wash on a 60 and iron0 -
Ah, a thread similar to this ran a while back, I'm still a once a week on a 60 in the winter and up to 4 times a week in the summer depending on how sweaty we all got lol!0

You must spend half your life inside quilt covers trying to find the corners!
Love threads like this! That sounds tragic doesn't it?
Ours are done probably every 3 weeks.....sometimes a bit longer. Whenever I remember really!0 -
Goodness, I don't know how most of you have the time!
Single and not getting much action so monthly here. However, if I am on a promise I will change sheets the night before. I tend to have a bath before bed and I don't really sweat so my sheets never seem dirty.0 -
Every 2-3 days, although we have a dog who sleeps on a blanket on the bed - I couldn't last a couple of weeks/months- I'd feel so dirty! Each to their own though!0

I changed the beds weekly along with the mattress/pillow protectors, have been known to leave it two weeks though if I have too much washing especially in the winter.
I also wash the duvets every 3 months (my washing machine will take a double), I vacuum the mattress every 3 months too and wipe down with an antibacterial solution.
Not anymore I am not after reading this thread, no wonder I don't have me time, I do too much, she says emptying the dishwasher at 3am!0 -

The bedding however has small satiny squares on the border of the duvet cover and pillow cases, and I wash at 40 just like it says on the instructions. BUT I find that it's starting to grey a bit, especially on the pillowcases, and washing at 40 doesn't get rid of it. Would I get away with washing at 60 without ruining the satin panels?
What does the label say? I always follow the instructions:I wash my bedding at 50 deg (that's what the label says and I'm a good girl and do what I'm told).
And what sort of program do you use?
My bedding is Egyptian cotton too (from Dunelm Mill Hotel range) and has similar patterns (you can't see it very well except in certain angles).
We've had it a few years and it still looks as good as new (although our sets are cream).
I wash it on a 'cottons stains' program and add on a special program called 'wash plus' which gives extension of washing cycle for a more intense washing of highly soiled stuff or for washing at maximum load (king size duvet & sheet).
It takes 2.5 hours - which I know isn't very MSE.0 -
Once a week here. Air the bed every day. We always bath before going to bed too.0

Merlot, you made me laugh. Why are you doing domestics at 3am? X0

i wash my bedding weekly. our bedding goes on a 90 degree wash for 2 and half hours! The kids bedding goes on a 60 degree wash for the same amount of time.0
